Do not use. Total rip off. Charged me twice over, took a deposit without my permission, ordered parts without my permission, unhelpful in the extreme in resolving my complaint. Took days to get them concede that I had paid a deposit. Very poor experience indeed. Please go and find more honest tradesman than this company.

do not use these people. i have had a complaint from one of their customers who i will not disclose for legal reasons. she was ripped of by andrew smith for £700 to fix her cooker which still does not work.
the engineer who was self employed had left the company and naturally did not reattend his mess up.
the customer told me that when she had complained the office staff told her a technical manager would come round to her. she was then charged a further £180 plus vat for her complaint which was put on her debit card. she told me that she had trouble understanding him on the phone and was perpetually phoned and had text messages sent to her phone by smith the scottish guy who took her money.

he then quoted her £700 to sweep her chimney that does not need sweeping and a further £400 to fit an air brick. any chimney sweeper would tell you the job is not even worth £100.
she text my mobile phone and confirmed she is going to have the little b@!&tard to trading standards.
she had read an article in a newspaper so she phoned me to get as much info about him as possible. i explained he was a dreamer as she had read about, trying to become a success like charlie mullins from pimlico. she has all the facts without me having to divulge everything to her.
i took a lot of work away from smith in the years as his prices were through the roof.

the photo above is for a award he did not even be selected for. he did not make the short list. this can be proved by contacting barking and dagenham. he has been grassed up to them. so why he looks pleased holding a certificate is probably a attendance day certificate not an award, who knows.
if your a disatified customer reply to me and i will forward contact details of engineers that have been mislead by smith and his thai secretary wife that promise to make engineers rich. 

together we can stamp out criminals who rip of women for gain..

the girls on the phone are great, i have used them a few times in the past.
they always deliver and i know no one is perfect, but they certainly are keen and have the knowledge to
deal with all plumbing and heating

are great on the phone giving me assurance, as a lot of companies just dont know how to talk to customers and asking the right questions. they did that, and came prepared

Commercial job to the boiler house

Replaced a gas valve, and combustion checks, very fast and reliable service.
no complaints, very clean, and if running late they do always ring me.

I started using advanced after i got let down by Aspect Maintenance, if they are reading this
then they will know what i mean

Very good service, they got my sir con unit up and running, and my daughters central heating boiler;

I give them top marks, did what they said they would, and the air con unit i have is not the easiest- it is a VRV daikin system, - Advanced handled it well;

Having my boiler inspected by your qualified gas engineer. That makes me fell much better as I was worried that we would have gas leak somewhere. Luckily you came out and diagnosed the problem properly. You follow all gas regulation strictly and didn't leave until you were 150% sure everything was safe. I've been safe so far. You have been recommended by my friend who has used you before, Matthew. He said you were very good and installed his new Valliant boiler and it works so well. Hot water and heating works much better than before. Then I just thought I would try your service, I called you up to fit new gas fire and you've done very good job you left my place tidy and you were very careful with gas regulations. Dear Advanced Heating team, You paid me a visit on 5 Aug 09. On that visit you did repair my back boiler(the one that not many people know much about!!) I had problem finding the right person to do the job. I had to pay a lot of money for the parts that were not even needed. I just felt that wouldn't be able to find anyone who could be able to repair my back boiler. Finally, I found you and our expertise got me out of troubles. I wish to thank your engineer Oville for being so helpful. He spent his time, looked at things properly and made sure all the problems were full resolved before he left. Since then everything has been absolutely fine. One thing I wish to say to you is you have a very good engineer in your firm. Next time I call you back I will personally ask for him back without hesitation. At the same time if any of your customers needs reference I will be the one so and I will back you up the whole way. They were very fair with what they charged me and did very good jobs. You probably remember me I'm the one that had problems with plumbing, tap, toilet, valve at my flat and I don't actually live in England. I can say you are the one company that I trust enough to leave my flat's keys with and leave your plumbers to work there alone with no fear. Having an emergency Boiler Breakdown, I telephoned Advanced Heating and explained the situation and Andrew came out straight away to assess the problem. He managed to get a replacement and get it fitted by one of his team very quickly. They are extremely reliable, skilled and friendly, they do a great job with minimal disturbance. The customer care is second to none. I can’t recommend Advanced Heating highly enough and would definitely have no hesitation in using again.
