The London Dental Studio

Overpriced and unfriendly. I have seen a hygeinist here a few times when I couldn't get to one near work. I'm pretty sure one of them is a drunk, the other behaves like a school Mistress speaking to patients as though they are naughty school children (I am 40). She proceded to savage my gums which bled badly for some time afterwards and argued with me for not flossing - which I do, daily. I've never had any issues before, nor since. Definitely not worth the inflated prices. The receptionists are not at all knowledgable and lie. Also, I've never seen the same dentist here twice which probably tells you all you need to know.

Having hit my late 40's and having experienced endless problems with my with my teeth for many years plus me being a complete 'wimp' when it came to visiting the dentist - I decided to do a lot of research and hunt down the best qualified dentist who was both competent and affordable - which is why I ended up at the London Dental Studio in the care of Dr Vekaria.

I plucked up the courage - made an appointment and went for an initial consultation with Dr Vekaria who turned out to be extremely professional and spent time listening to my concerns about dentists in general - and he tailored a treatment plan to suit me.

Now if I'm being honest - the thought of having all the work that we decided was necessary - left me greatly concerned.

I envisaged that the amount of dental work required would necessitate me having to spend much time and numerous appointments in the London Dental Studio which just would not have suited me. So after much discussion - I decided to get everything done in one go.

Now this may sound not too impressive to you - but with 4 implants and 27 crowns and veneers required - perhaps this gives you an idea of the scale of what was required.

I arrived somewhat nervously on the morning in question at about 9.00am and left that afternoon at 4.30pm having undergone all the work which was completely painless - partially due to the conscious sedation which kept me calm and unconcerned.

When I left I had my temporary teeth fitted which looked great and I went home and answered all of my emails and made a few phone calls which demonstrates how I felt.

About a week later - I returned to the London Dental Studio and had all my crowns, veneers and teeth fitted onto the implants which looked absolutely fantastic.

I decided to write this report as I've just stumbled upon this site and thought that as it's not often in life that you are surprised by something that someone has done for you - and I was and am still literally astounded.

Following my treatment - my wife has undergone 5 implants and a bone graft in her jaw at the same practice using Dr Vekaria and I'm about to drive my mother who is in her mid 80's up to see him for a consultation as I trust his judgment implicitly and know that he will take great care of her which is even more crucial when you are 'of an age' and frail.

So in closing - if you're a 'wimp' like I was with dentists - or if you need major work such as me and don't know where to turn - look no further because you've stumbled upon the solution to your problem.

Speak in the first instance with the Practice Manager 'Shazia' - she is kind, professional and understanding - rare talents today in a world where everyone is just too busy to give you the time - she will surprise you.

As a final point - the difference to my general feeling of 'well being' and the confidence that my new smile and decent teeth have given me - is priceless. Thoroughly recommended - my only regret - that I didn't pluck up the courage to do this years ago - but that's just life!

Fantastic!! They take the time to really understand the issue and what the customer wants taking into account aesthetics and health in equal measure. The dental manager is sooo professional and kind. They make you feel like you are their only customer. Open Saturdays too!! Great service - worth every penny!!
