There about 5 different bakeries in Huyton but Waterfields by far do the best bacon butty. They include 2 slices of bacon on a bun topped with cheese all for £1.60. These are very popular so if you want one you normally have to be there by 8:45. The staff are always friendly and service is fast.
Not the biggest shop but it has a wonderful variety of pastries, bread and cakes. There’s an excellent selection of sandwiches and soups etc for lunch time and all served by polite, smiling staff who are a credit to the business.
It’s a pleasure to shop here.
