Would like to give this company minus stars, but it won't let me!  I ordered a lead back in Feb and surprise suprise they took my money, but never sent me the lead!  I have emailed them 3 times with no response and tried to call, but no answer!  SCAM!

ONE STAR ONLY IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO PUBLISH THIS REVIEW.

I am going to echo what others have said here...this Company is a SCAM! Please do not use them and give them your money.  We received faulty goods, which, on their agreement we returned for a refund.  Despite several emails to them since, phone calls (waste of time as nobody ever answers) nearly two months on and there has been no word from them or refund.  We are now around £40 out of pocket.

I am just in the process of going through Citizens Advice / Trading Standards to get our money back and try to stop them doing this to anyone else.  Please, if you've been conned, try and do the same!  We shouldn't let them get away with it!

It's a shame to even give this company one star as it doesn't deserve even that.  Ordered by goods before Christmas arrived in January however short of £20 of items. Have been emailing ever since to get absolutely no reply at all.  The phone number only goes to a recorded message and I suspect if anyone turned up at their premises they'd find no one in or the place shut.

I think this company are a bunch or scam artists and conmen.

Bought two types of supplement for my cats. I ordered just before Christmas and was aware that the order would not be processed until after January 1st. It was despatched on 8th January and arrived on 12th January.  The top of one of the plastic canisters was broken and half the powder supplement was in the envelope. I sent an email asking about a refund and got a reply on 21st January stating "PROCESSING REPLACEMENTS". Since then, despite emailing them again and again I have heard nothing further. No replacements, no refund info (apart from that on their website).  I wish I had bought the supplements on eBay at least the sellers there are honest!  As with the above reviews, I wish I had checked these scammers out before buying from them. More fool me.

Even before I posted this review I tried to contact LDC via e-mail, letter, phone and through the Google Wallet Review “Contact Seller” function to discuss my concerns and experience but they failed to respond.

So my review Fantastic website and extensive range of products. However, LDC incorrectly fulfilled my order and they never responded to my e-mails or answered the phone. I realised that this was over the Christmas period so I waited until the first week of the New Year and tried again. After multiple attempts to contact them to resolve the issue, I returned the goods via ParcelForce - Tracked service (at a cost £19.30) requesting a full refund. Two days later, I received a parcel from LDC which I was not expecting as I have completed their Returns form requesting a full refund. This parcel contained one bed and one cushion that had not been ordered. Again, I tried to contact them via phone and e-mail but as before they failed to return my e-mails / attempted calls (with the exception of the automated e-mail confirming receipt of my e-mail). I even wrote them a letter (which they never responded to). I returned the parcel again at a cost of £12.30 (Tracked). I received a refund of £77 for the two items but I am still out of pocket as the second package was not requested or wanted. So for £77 outlet, I have no dog beds and have spent £31.60 on returning the items because of their errors. I contacted them through Google Wallet before making this review and they never responded to that either. I will never use LDC again and would ensure that my friends and family are aware of my dire experience. LDC were quick to take money and they do provide a pleasant purchasing experience but this is where the pleasant experience ends and quality of service ceases. Although their prices were / are very competitive, if you look at the whole scenario, I would pay the £2-3 more at an alternative outlet and have done without issue so Dog is happy as am I. To sum up, I will not consider using LDC again in the future and would recommend that you consider this review before you make your own decision.

Sorry LDC you had multiple opportunities to demonstrate any level of Customer Service, which for your own reasons you chose not to. If there was a zero star, I would have issued that!

Really wish that I had seen these reviews before ordering from London Dog Company. Order placed over two weeks ago. No sign. Says on website that it is still being processed. No response to my emails. Based on other people's experiences with this company, I am not holding my breath. Its appalling that they continue to be allowed to get away with this. Do not buy from them.

how is it so many people are complaining about this company and they are still getting away with it.i ordered 2 dog coats begining of november 2012 and 4 weeks later still no coats. no one answers the phone and no reply to countless emails.i've.been ripped off.has anyone out there had their orders delivered yet?

Can only reiterate what previous reviewers have said, please DON'T use this company!!

I'm another who wishes they'd checked them out before ordering!

Placed order, on September 29th 2012, for several items and waited.
And waited...waited...waited

It's now November 2nd 2012 and guess what?
I'm still waiting...zzzzzz

Three emails unanswered, just a note on my order page saying, 'chasing for customer'...which they're obviously NOT doing.

Left message on their Facebook page asking why they were advertising when they couldn't complete an order.
Surprise, surprise, it was hastily removed!

Don't be fooled by The London Dog Company's blurb that they're, 'one of Britain's poshest dog boutiques'.
Their service, or rather, lack of it, is worst I've encountered in over twelve years of online buying.

Please, don't waste your time, and money trying to order from them.
They obviously don't want any business! Or, they're rip-off merchants!

Avoid these people like the plague.

Not wanting to sound like a stuck record, but I wish I read this first..  I ordered over a week ago, to collect..  you'd think they would have been able to tell me I can collect!!  but no mail, no reply to my two mails, no calls get through, and the on-line chat just waits for ages, an no one helps.

I agree with all of the above, wish i had read this before i ordered, stay away. I ordered ferret food acoming to 30kg and cost £10 to post. my shipping kept saying pending and i emailed twice with no reply, ring, never an answer. 7 working days after ordering i now says 5 days to get to me. Now i have facebooked, lets see how far that get me.

Avoid this company, my order took over 2 weeks to arrive and then they missed an item, although it's listed on the invoice and I've paid for it.  Rang and actually spoke to someone who assured me it would be delivered that week - it wasn't.  Now can't get hold of them to discuss the missing item, have sent an email, but since they haven't responded in the past I don't hold any hope for a response!  Would have give them zero stars if it was an option!!  Very disappointed.

I'd give it a one star rating, that is just because of the competitive price, I am still waiting for my order, from over two weeks ago, but the customer login feature enables me to see that it has been despatched via royal mail. There is no other way of getting any information, I have sent a few emails, and received no response at all. I have tried calling numerous times and no one is there to answer the phone, a messaage just redirects you to send an email. They are a 'bit' cheaper than other online places, but their customer service and communication is absolutely shocking...I was starting to think they had gone bust and I had lost my money!! I will tell anyone that will listen to avoid this place. USELESS!!!

avoid avoid avoid,i have tried to return a faulty toy i have purchased from them,i was lucky enough to speak to them before they had the phone disconnected and they agreed to replace a faulty toy,they replaced it with a smaller cheaper allternative and have ignored all emails to try and get the right toy,lets be honest,what sort of a shop has no phone line ? if you cant speak to them look else where

This is just from memory so my dates might not be 100% may 21st i phoned you about a faulty electronic dog toy & yes you did answer the phone,you told me to post it back,about a week later you would have received the toyabout 2 weeks after that i receive a toyhalf the cost of the 1 i sent back & less than the cost of the postage it cost me to return it to you,i then try ringing & sending emails,ive had the wrong toy for over a week before i even get a reply & you tell me to post it back,the postage alone will cost more than the toy,you really are haveing a laugh,its easier & far less hasle to pay couple of quid more & go to pets at home

Found a new website cheaper than my local pet shop. I have set up their no fuss ordering and now every month without having to place an order online or over the phone my dog food is delivered every month. very pleased :-)
