I ordered an item through BUYOMETRIC, who lead me to a QYPE deal, who finally and regretfully put me on to FUNKY-PIG.com. I paid Qype some moneyfor the item and then paid funky-pig.com for the postage as instructed by the Qype deal in JUNE 2012. Here I am, in JANUARY 2013 with no goods ever received, with my money back from Qype (after a billion emails) and with my postage still "stolen" by funky-pig.com because they will not respond to my many, many emails and I am now on to my second letter, by recorded delivery.
I am now going to report funky-pig.com to trading standards for FRAUD as they take your money then do not respond to any communications so they STEAL your money. Good business for them, but why are Qype and all the other "deal" type companies still using them??? AVOID funky-pig.com IF YOU DON NOT WANT HOURS OF YOUR LIFE WASTED SENDING FRUSTRATING E-MAILS, LETTERS AND PHONE CALLS (WHICH NO ONE ANSWERS ANYWAYS) P.S. Whatever you do please do not purchase anything from this merchant as you will never receive the goods and will lose your money.
I ordered goods beginning of December 2012, chased it 7 times by email and telephone calls and have been fobbed off by some person, by the sounds of it works in a warehouse!!

Do not use this company. I ordered an item through themon 13th December and nothing, no updates, no nothing. I have emailed them, nothing. There website only has one phone number and that is for business development (that's a joke with their customer skills) but lo and behold, the line is dead. I guess I can kiss my item and money goodbye. Disgraceful. I will be reporting them for fraud and I suggest that others do the same.

Ordered a product through KGB deals in November, like most on here I heard nothing. I emailed, no reply. I posted on Facebook, no reply. Finally after a second email I received an item, but the wrong one! Yet again emailed and Facebook message but nothing. Emailed KGB who didn't even read my email properly, giving me details of how to contact funky pig. They then said they would need to check it out and, lo and behold, now into 2013 and no further forward! Absolutely ridiculous that both funky pig and KGB can get away with this

No, no, no! Do not give them a single penny. I bought a quirky showerhead via Wowcher. Paid £3.95 for postage, which was 3 weeks!!! I could have walked from Scotland picked it up and walked home to fit it in half that time! When it arrived it was the wrong one. they give a choice of two and sent the wrong one! You couldn't write it! Anyway, I fitted it and it was nothing like the photos on their website. They show sprays of water coloured by the LEDs in the head. I got clear water running from a showerhead with about 5 small LEDS blinking. I put the lights out to darken the room. Ahhh, now we're talking! About 3 inches of water had a feint tint of colour. Still nothing like the images and I wasn't too sure about showering in darkness! I emailed them and asked for a response and waited......and waited. I gave up and emailed Wowcher who, within a day forwarded to me the email they sent to Funky Pig asking them to respond. I waited again.....and waited. I emailed Funky Pig again and asked them why they feel that their customers are unworthy of even a response? Two days later I got a short email telling me a replacement would be sent on Monday with next day delivery. That's Monday 17th Dec 2012. This is now late evening, Friday 21st Dec and I'm still waiting. I've emailed them again and still I wait. I have now contacted Wowcher again and await their response.
Anyway, anyone interested in an LED showerhead? Why shower in clear water when you can have a relaxing shower in ...erm....clear water for a bargain price of £9.99 (£3.75 postage and you won't wait 3 weeks!!) ?
PS, I only gave them a star because I can't post without doing so!

Ordered the shambala watches deal 1 month ago and they've never arrived. Emailed 3 times and spoke to the so called owner "Dan" 2 weeks ago when he promised to call back and never did then yesterday where he promised it was being couriered for guaranteed delivery tomorrow (today). My work colleague is in the same boat hers have never arrived either. Chased him today and he says he's out of the office. They've been posted out by Royal Mail so no hope of getting them for Xmas now. Told him I will report him to Trading Standards then he hung up on me. Whatever you do don't deal with these rogues. I have other items outstanding with them which have also not been received. They should be closed down TODAY before they rip off anyone else.

I too had problems ordering the wallets as part of the Nectar Deal, but they did eventually turn up 31 days after the date of order. The very day they arrived, I had just got round to raising a PayPal dispute, but within an hour of doing this the wallets turned up.
Not sure i would have paid hte full price but they're nice and as described.
Bad points -late delivery and did not respond to e-mails questioning where the goods were.
Good points - they did put a notice on their e-mail address advising that they were out of stock and more were due in on 17th Sept and details of how to cancel and get your money back.
Maybe just need to give them a chance to put things right?!

Why is this company still trading? I have had the same problem as all the other people who have left comments, paid for an item and never received it. I have just made acclaim through Paypal and Discount Vouchers to get my money and I intend to file a complaint with trading standards.

Please please avoid. I bought an item from them via Wowcher and despite clear instructions they sent me the wrong item. They have since ignored polite emails and later on emails where I have given them a time frame to reply otherwise I will contact Trading standards. They dont care they will take your money and offer no customer service or response. Warn others, and hopefully companies like this will cease trading and ripping people off. I also urge people to contact trading standards as well as reporting on here so somethign may get don.

Hi
As suggest by one of the forum i have raised a dispute with PAYPAL. Since our payment was went through PAYPAL we can get our money back if the seller did not respond to PAYPAL case within 10 days time. The case should be raised with PAYPAL within 45 days of making the payment. All the communication will be handled by PAYPAL after you make a dispute with them. We just have to wait for the email from PAYPAL about the status.
The contact number is 08707 307 191. To avoid lengthy waiting going through the automated system say “Agent” after some time on your call to talk to some person. you need to have the card number details which you used to make the payment (last 4 digits) or the receipt number which can be found on the email you received for your payment from PAYPAL.

Finally i received my wallets this weekend. I’m not sure whether it was due to the action of paypal or they had actually sent it. When i checked with nectar before I contact paypal they said funky pig was on short of stock and the last person on this deal should receive the wallets by this weekend.
I’m not sure of which triggered my wallets to be dispatched. Finally i got it.

Alleld, 2 November 2012:I ordered mine as part of daily Nectar Deals, despite over 8 mails, none acknowledged, and numerous telephone calls I am still waiting. Telephone number now diverts straight to answerphone and calls are not returned if you leave a message I have now asked Nectar to intervene as I am sick of it.

Unfortunately I have had the same experience as the majority of people on here. Ordered an item after seeing a deal on Nextar Daily deals. Had to pay 4.95 for delivery which was ridiculous as they said it would take up to 14 days. The 14 days passed and the product never arrived, I emailed asking what was going on, but like the rest of the reviewers on here I received no response. Don't use this site if you want to recieve the product you have purchased. The one star rating is generous for this company.

Used a voucher from Nectar Daily Deals email on 21 Aug. Paid them and Funky-Pig.com on the same day.
Since then no item, and funky-pig have ignored multiple e-mails. Necar Daily Deals replied within 2 minutes and said they have talked to Funky-Pig and that all orders have been sent.
Looks like BOTH funky-pig and Nectar are lying this time.

cyclopes, 20 September 2012:I ordered the wallets on 22nd August 2012 through the Nectar Daily Deals and after two weeks emailed FP.com with NO response at all. On the last email to FP.com I cc’d nectar (Sainsbury) who were on the trail straight away. Nectar assured me that all the orders were being honoured and that if I did not receive my aluminium wallets by 21st September they would refund my money plus the postage and package. You can’t say fairer than that. I am thankful that it was a Nectar deal since I feel I would be tearing my hair out by now and be minus wallets and money.

They took my money on July 10th, it was through KGB deals. At first they replied saying the items would be dispatched by the weekend and then they blocked my email. Will not use them or KGB again. Would like to be able to give no stars! Avoid them!

If you EVER come across a site called Funky Pig, please don't buy anything from them for your own sake. They are SCAMMERS! The conning works like this: they advertise a deal on a discount website. The deal I bought, for example, costed £ 1. Then they charge you a fortune for delivery and, when you complain because your item hasn't arrived after one and half month of the order, they cancel your order and refund the money you paid for the item, but keep the money paid for delivery. Very clever way of conning people out of their money without having to deliver anything! I am sincerely considering reporting them to police as it looks like reporting them to Trading Standards clearly doesn't work. Honestly, I wish I had read these reviews before ordering from them. I am so disappointed with myself! The worst thing is that they say they had sent the item, but strangely theirs is the first order that goes missing in my area for, like, 87 years. LIARS, SCAMMERS, CONMEN! This is what they are!!!

Bought through wowcher, I did actually receive my item after waiting for AGES for it, doesnt work properly, have requested a refund several times since, via email, as there is no retuns info on the site, no terms and conditions and no phone number to call. No response! What a massive waste of money!!
