Glo is absolute perfection in salon form! After having cuts & colour by Lawrence I'd find it difficult to let another hairdresser ever touch my hair. He always delivers (and I've set him quite some challenges!), the atmosphere in the salon is great, I've been able to get appointments as soon as I need them and the pricing is really reasonable. I'd definitely recommend to anyone considering a style overhaul! x

Absolutely fantastic salon! I was introduced to this salon through a KGB deal and have stayed with Lawrence cutting my hair ever since! I had short bobbed hair at the time and was in need of a "rescue" hair colour, having had a nightmare hair colour somewhere else! My first impression was that Lawrence and his team were extremely professional, chatty and helpful.. best hair colour I've had!! I am now addicted to the "Raccoon" hair extensions that Ive been having for the past year, I have had many compliments on my hair extensions because they look so natural.. overall I love this salon and won't go anywhere else! It is obvious that Lawrence has a vast experience in what he does, truly brilliant salon!

I went to Glo first through a kgb deal and was so impressed I've become a regular customer. Always a warm welcome and a good old natter with Lawrence. Lawrence is always excited and happy to do my wacky hair colour idea's, and adds in his excellent experience and skill to produce hair cut and colours I always have compliments over! Even if I move from Cardiff I think I will make the trip back just to get my hair done at Glo!

Unfortunately Lawrence is so good, I will never let anyone else touch my hair again. I've had so many bad hair cuts in the past by top name salons and after the last disaster created by a famous international chain for a small fortune, I went to Lawrence in the hope that he could fix it. He did more than fix it, he made it fantastic, I have since been back and had a cut and colour, and I'm so happy with my hair! It makes such a difference when you're happy with your hair! And not only the hair, Lawrence is a fantastic person, he's creative and chatty, and I trust him 100% to do whatever he likes with my hair.

Love,love, love this salon. Lawrence is a true artist! 
I've been having cut and colours from Lawrence for nearly 5 years and there's no way I'd go to anyone else!
I currently travel from Brighton to have my hair cut here and have travelled from Somerset too. I've visited Lawrence in several salons and always thought him to be an excellent cutter, colourist and Manager. 
Not only that, but he's an excellent teacher too. I've modelled for him several times and the students are always engaged and enthused by Lawrence's passion and talent. 
Lawrence is a perfectionist and always works to the highest standard, whether you want something classic and timeless, or funky and cutting edge, or somewhere in between!
For his level of skill, Lawrence's prices are very reasonable and the city centre location is easy to get to. The salon is always clean and I am always welcomed by a smile.
Plus the conversation isn't standard hairdressing talk, if you want to chat he makes an effort to engage with all clients.
Vidal Sassoon would be Proud!

I'm originally from Russia so I had never been to a hair salon in the UK. As I had an awful perm a few years ago my hair was really damaged and unhappy. It also made me unhappy to look at them: split ends, dry and a bit lighter than my natural colour. I was so sick and tired of long hair that I could wait no longer so decided to visit a salon for the first time here in the UK. 

I googled hair salons in Cardiff and chose the one that's near me which seemed very good: a website is nice, prices are reasonable and some good reviews, too. 

My haircut was done by Lawrence, who is an absolute professional. He is very friendly, talkative and, of course, creative. Lawrence knows exactly what to do with your hair as I had a very vague idea of what I wanted so agreed with every suggestion. He also told me that he has been a hairdresser since the age of 15 if I'm not mistaken, which is impressive. You can tell that Lawrence has rich experience in what he does. In the end, it was quick, my hair's now much shorter than it was  and I love it. I'm entirely pleased with the result and would definitely advise anyone to visit Glo! I'm sure you'll have a great experience and a gorgeous new look, which may as well change your life for the better ;)

Lawrence has been doing my hair for years! It's been bleached, dyed every colour under the sun and not once has it been in bad condition. Always professional but very easy to talk to and a great atmosphere in the salon. Friendly and professional, I would not trust my hair to anyone ells! 5*'s

Have been a client of the owner for years, he has done my colour, cut and extentions and I won't go to anyone else, I wait until he's free for him to do my hair as he is the only one I trust!  I get compliaments about my hair when ever I have had it done(miracle worker).  They are very professional, great customer service, once you go there, you will definetely want to go back.  Very creative styles and colours done aswell as he caters for everyone.  I have had a range of colours such as Red, Purple, Pink, Blonde with Pink, Blonde, Platinum.  Recommended salon. DON'T MISS OUT !!! :)

Such a lovely salon - the staff make you feel right at home and Lawrence clearly knows his stuff! Easy to discuss and create ideas with. I've only had a cut from him so far but can't wait to book my extensions and colour! I have recommended this salon to many of my friends. I wouldn't go to any body else now.

I had the pleasure of having my hair done at this small yet perfectly formed salon the other day! I was very worried about having to go and see a new hairdresser as my previous salon had really messed my hair up and knocked my confidence incredibly. Going in with an awful yellowy orange colour and in horrible condition, I think most hairdressers would have run a mile, but not this chap, I was pleasantly surprised! 
I phoned up at first just to ask for some advice, and Laurence was lovely, incredibly understanding and not pushy at all, he asked if I could pop in and see him on a one to one basis so we could have a look at what my hair would require and to have a colour test. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted with a big smile and confident handshake which was reassuring. We sat down in a private little area and discussed at length what it was I needed, and also why my ordeal had happened, which was nice. He didn't go blaming the previous stylist which shocked me! 
I went back the next day feeling safe in the knowledge he could fix my hair trauma and he did just that, and more! I've never had my hair looking this good before, ever. He took his time, talked me through every step of the process and slowly but surely I fell in love with his knowledge. Absolutely brilliant, more of a hair wizard than a stylist.

I've rebooked for my treatment and blowdry in 2 weeks so he can check up on my hair condition, Hand on heart, best salon ever Xx

I'm quite sceptical about buying hair deals from discount websites after really bad experience with actually 95% of them, but I'm soooo glad that I bought the deal to have my hair done at Glo! Such a discovery and full recommendation. The best customer service I have ever experienced in the hairdressers. And two lovely people running the place. Becci is unbelievably pleasant on the phone and even more lovely in person. She also does the colour and helps with everyday running of the salon. Lawrence, who did my cut and gave me quite a few very useful tips, is the main person running this upcoming hair salon and he has plenty of experience to put Glo - Specialists in Hair on the map of Cardiff hairdressers. Will be visiting soon for another creation from the Glo team!
