Restaurant Colina

I was completely impressed with my experience at Restaurant Colina. I must admit that I was a bit skeptical as I arrived. It was a Saturday and we did not have reservations, but were still able to get a table, which was great.
The service ended up being very good. After expressing interest in a bottle of wine, we received a thorough presentation of different wines, and even got to taste a few.
I ended up eating a filet, which I ordered medium-rare (Englisch). The meat was absolutely perfect! I was so impressed from the quality. My friend ordered the ostrich steak, which he said was also very delicious.
My only critique would be that the atmosphere is only so-so. It looks like a very bland restaurant, not only from the outside, but also on the inside. But the food is to die for!

This place offers the only authentic Cuban cuisine in Cologne.
The meat and fish dishes served here are impeccably prepared, mostly cooked on charcoal grill, plus they have a large selection of typical Cuban starters like manioc – all served in an elaborate and impressive setting in the heart of Cologne.
And even the beer served here is something special: More or less homebrewed to an original Cuban recipe, this delightfully tasty and moreish sup is so far available nowhere else but here.
