woodmill farm

We stayed here for a week in August 2008 and it was just perfect. We were in the Buttercup Cottage which was a tiny one bedroom cottage, just the right size for two people. There was a private deck which looked out onto the farm, and we had ponies in the field over our back fence. The cottage was tastefully decorated with all necessary appliances (including dishwasher and digital tv) and the bed was very comfortable. The farm is very close to the Eden Project and within easy reach of other attractions such as the Lost Gardens of Helligan and Truro. The only down side for us was that St Blazey itself did not have many shops or restaurants, only a couple of quite dingy pubs, so we had to drive to find somewhere to eat. A very pleasant stay in a beautiful location.
