One other point of interest is that it is located near the Maida Vale Underground Station. “Maida Vale” is the prefix Ray Milland dials in the Hitchcock classic “Dial M For Murder” (1954) also starring Grace Kelly (later Her Serene Highness, Princess Grace of Monaco).

I actually worked on a music video for Michael Ball at Abbey Road
The staff here were really friendly and the whole day was a really nice experience
If I needed a studio feel for another music video I wouldn't hesitate coming back here again!

Abbey Road studios are synonymous with the Beatles front cover of their final album 'Abbey Road'
This place is like a shrine for Beatles fans though off the beaten track for tourists and so isn't as overcrowded as many other London attractions. The wall outside the studios is covered with goodwill messages left for the band from all over the world. There seemed to be little space left for anymore when I visited but I understand they have to whitewash the walls every few years so people can leave more messages!
Nearby is the world famous pelican crossing which must be the bane of many drivers using this road having to stop for tourists taking their prized photos
