Poole news is a great little shop at the bottom of the high street. It is your everyday news agent with a splash of a mini market and a dollop of gifts. You can get anything in here from papers to milk, bread to sticks of rock. Prices are reasonable for this type of shop and it seems to always have customers. They do stock a lovely range of gifts such as novelty lighters and ornaments some of which I think make the best gifts ever. The store benefits from the town’s car parks and its staff are always on the ball and happy to help.

A newsagent plus convenience store.

I don’t go in here that often, but is is jolly useful. It does all the papers and magazines, plus crisps and sweets and drinks, but also has a gift section.

This morning we saw some glass blown paperweights, they do mugs, candles, and a varying consignment. Also, they do the mandatory post cards, and fishing nets.

Used a lot by smokers and people who live over the shops, this is a very useful shop on the High St.
