Couldn't get any tickets but......wow those athletes are awesome. Some of the benefit scroungers should watch what can be done even with severe 'disabilities'. Wrong word, I know, coz they have shown us that, to them, it isn't.

It's a wonderful atmosphere and very easy to walk around, I love the meadow inspired flowers and all the stadiums are very impressive. But you do get a very temporary feel about it all...which I suppose is the point.

Only real gripe about it is that when it rained there was no one around selling pochos and/or umbrellas...the only way to get one was to queue to get into the London2012 shop for 45mins in the rain. Also there was no shelter either to wait it out, so me and my brother just got very very wet...

If you've got tickets I would suggest turning up about an hour before the event to a) give yourself time to get there b) do a loo, drink, food shop c) take it in and d) find your seats.

Review of Olympic and Paralympic Village from 17 July 2012

It is nor far now and some of my friends are excited and some aren't.
This is the best place to be if you are in East London visiting or even great if you are attending.

I am going to support all nations in their sports as each country deserves a "Gold" medal.

Takes a while to get in as the security is exactly as thorough as U.K. airport security is.
The village itself is nice but not as good as I expected it to be for the money we've paid for its construction.
