I discovered this branch post office tucked inside a newsagents on Stoke Newington Church Street at Christmas, on my way to the library. I’ve got so fed up with the long queues at the main post office on Stoke Newington High Street, that it’s great to have found an alternative option.
There were still queues here at Christmas, but it’s a busy time of year, so it’s to be expected. Nonetheless, there were two counters open and they were far more efficient and faster working than the slowcoaches who work at the speed of snails at the main post office. So the queue went quickly and I managed to catch the last post at the post box outside. Hooray! A welcome discovery.
