Very dissapointed indeed! We came to this deli on Wed 25th May 2011 just after lunchtime, very hungry. First, there was nowhere to be seated, all the tables and chairs were piled in corner (not a big issue as it was a lovely day and we could by the sea). The choice of sandwiches and paninis looked lovely so we chose 2 paninis. One of them was roasted turkey, stuffing and crandberry sauce - sounded great! At the end of the counter there was a beautifully looking roasted turkey and bowls with stuffing, yummy. I let my husband order and waited with my son outside-inside. We waited for ages (10min after the order and payment) but all this would not make me give the place just one star - I don't mind waiting for good food. We took our paninis and went to eat them at the promenade. What a BAD SURPRISE I got when I opened my panini - the lady that served us (middle aged with long dark hair) put SHREDDED TURKEY HAM instead of ROASTED TURKEY in my panini. It didn't taste good at all but we were 5min walk away, tired and hungry, which is the reason why I didn't go back to return it (and get £3.50 refund). I still regret not returning it, VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! I found this very very cheeky and without being paranoid, I put it down to the fact that we are foreigners and the lady probably thought she can get away with it. While waiting I also saw her colleague (man) serving another customer the same type of sandwiched and he did use the roasted turkey.
We loved our day out in Llandudno, beautiful town, but this really left me quite bitter about the experience.
For the record, the other panini was lovely, but my advice is - WATCH OUT for the lady and what she puts in the sandwich, especially if you are a foreigner ;)

The ham bone is legendary in Llandudno. the sandwiches they make are absolutley top notch. they dont seem as big as they used to, but they are still pretty darn big. I never used to be able to eat a whole one when i was young. so if you have kids take them for butties from there, then you will get plenty of leftovers that you can eat all to yourself. yum yum. they have plenty of fillings to cater to all the types of sandwich eaters out there. my favorite is the seafood mix .

I remember the Ham Bone from the days it was Ainsworth Butchers in Craig-y-Don. The CYD shop has stayed true to it roots - cheapish, fresh, top quality sandwiches and pies. I’m not too sure about the Deli in the town centre which seems a bit expensive for me. Go to the CYD shop if you can.

We really liked it here - there is a large array of made to order sandwiches etc to take away, and also some great food to eat in, although there are very few tables so you are lucky to get one at lunch time. We had the tapas which was tasty and freshly cooked. A good option for a quick bite to eat.
