ok…so I have contacted many companys that they advertise o and trade on; Wowcher, Bizzy, Choozen, Deal zippy, companies in the uk, duedil, company check, passionford, twitter, gooster, 1234buy, shopping.lycos, gumtree, qype, adulmec, edendeal.
Simon Evans the director has a profile on uk.linkedin.com/pub/simon-evans/47/858/5a2.
Iv registered with this site but cant seem to get a message to him. Dont know if anyone else wants to try.
Other people have had the same probs and are on websites: scambook.com and passionford.com.Im still pulling up companies they are advertising on so if anyone else finds a company please let me know.
Unfortunately for wholesale masters…they have scammed the wrong lady!!!! I will do what i can to screw them up!!!
Also i have just become a member of twitter so i can tweet them on there but im still not sure what i am doing wrong but i cant seem to tweet. Any ideas?? Or may be someone could do it for me??

ok so I have done some research and the company director Gerald Hayford comes up as Gerald Tawiah!!!
He is linked with Wholesale Masters Ltd, Phones For Me Ltd, Wholesale Masters limited limited, and Fonebitzuk Ltd!!! Also under 4 different addresses 2 in London and 2 in Derby.
Also got an email address for him which i dont know if it still works and a telephone number which I tried and is engaged.
Also i cant email them on any email addresses at Wholesale Masters as they have now suspended all of them so you cant get through to them by email anymore!!!
I havnt heard from any companys that I messaged but if you want to try i contacted the following:
Wowcher
Bizzy
Choozen
Companies in the UK
Duedil
Company Check
Twitter
1234buy
Gooster
Shopping.lycos
Gumtree
Qype
Adulmec
Edendeal. -

I can confirm this is not a scam. we currently have a small issue with a delay which has effected some stock lines from our supplies due to this busy period. If you would like a refund please email returns@wmasters.co.uk This will be made within 3-5 working days.

May be you would like to explain why your telephone number doesnt work then and no one replies to emails?
-
maurival5, 17 November 2012:
if this is not a scam can you explain why on Company’s House your business is stated as being dissolved!!
I asked for a full refund and was told it would be 7-21 days as per contract, although you were contratced to deliver within 3-5 days!
When I complained Simon Evans said that he would not be contacting me again and he considered the matter closed! Please explain as this is not the way to do business.

not sure if you have seen my comments to the email they sent, basically the company is dissolved, it’s on company house’s site. The business address doesn’t exist, it’s a street of houses.
One of the emails that was sent to me didn’t make sense, looked like someone who doesn’t speak English wrote it, probably from China! -
alpal2728, 19 November 2012:
yes I had one like that. It was really bad english. Iv contacted my bank who is investigating and hopefully get a refund that way. Its weird how we have our emails ignored yet they respond on here!!!!

we have orderd 2 apple ipad 3 64 gb. They have placed adds in gumtree.com. I have called them and they told me that they will ship the item by 6th nov.
I sent a reminder asking them for the item on 05th nov. they replied saying that it would be delivered in 2 weeks.
i am waiting for the item.
They have given fulll page adds in local papers regarding ipad and they have many items in the website. The site is in existance from 2 years.
what can we do about it?
anybody suggest??
-
alpal2728, 8 November 2012:
I have informed my bank and they are investigating. Last time they did this I got a full refund from my bank so hopefully this will happen again.
In the meantime I am going to contact the police. The only thing I could suggest is contacting Gumtree and explaining to them. They may well remove them from their site as they have to think of their reputation. -
alpal2728, 8 November 2012:
ok so i contavted the police and the people that deal with this stuff is ‘action fraud’. You can go onto the website and file it or call 03001232040 and they will investigate. If everyone does it then they will realise its more serious.
-
maurival5, 9 November 2012:
Hi all, I have looked them up at Companies House and the company has been dissolved, so we probably won’t get the goods or money back. I reported it to actionfraud, so as alpal says we all need to do this.
They have sent emails to me after I threatened them with the police saying that they will send me a refund but it will take up to 21 days!! -
alpal2728, 9 November 2012:
quick enought o take the money but take their time in paying it back!! If you contact your bank you should get your money back from them once they have investigated.

I am to having the same problem my order was made on the 15/10/2012 – received a e-mail advising it would be with me on in the next 7 days after numerous e-mails this was 11 days ago! Where is it???!!!! No reply to e-mail and the telephone does not work!!!! I will be contacting trading standads, fraud action line and whoever i need to. The information on the net does not let you know about delay’s etc. I will get this matter dealt with even if it means going to the papers – this company will be disolived by the time I finished Its disgusting no contact number or replies to e-mails!
I want a full re-fund ASAP, however when you do apply for the refund on returns@wmasters. co.uk the e-mail is returned.
-

Brilliant – all reported to the relevant agencies now so lets see!!! Funny how we not getting any replies from the Masters…..
-
alpal2728, 19 November 2012:
I have also contacted dealzippy which they are ltrading with and im going through the internet now. There are also complaints on PassionFord.com and scambook.com. I have found Simon Evans profile on uk.linkedin.com who is the director that very occasionally replies to emails and is rude.
Yes Wholesale Masters has gone down but the address was in London which is also a block of flats. They went down on 13th November 2012 yet they have a new address in Derby now and still Trading. If everyone on here wants them stopped they all need to help out and contact people. Unfortunately I cant do this on my own, :-)
-
