10 reviews of Tesco Stores in English
Being a member of a local schools Parent and Teacher Association I was after a large number of easter eggs that I could buy (on behalf of the PTA) to give to the school children. In recent years I had noticed how certain supermarkets had put a limit on the amount customers could buy eg morrisons 6 per person. Last year I went to Tescos, around 9ish (when more quiet) and with the help of staff purchased around 240 eggs.
This year I researched the promotional items available and made contact with one of the grocery managers (Michael A) who was very helpful in deed.
My son and I were able to visit the store and discuss the various offers with him before he went to check if they had sufficient supplies. He returned with the correct amount and got another colleague to open a till so that we could pay straight away, before he pushed the trolley out to my car, filled the boot with eggs and bid me farewell.....professional through out and very helpful. Thank you Tescos, thank you Michael A!!
yeah and the staff are dodgy they sell equpment like my mate bought a mototola symbol windows mobile price and stock device for £25 off e-bay that he's sure came from the reddich branch as he bought it from reddich and it's got Tecos software on it.. Apparently there worth about £900. LOL If anyone wants to buy it email him at : auction_ebay@hush.com
This tesco moved out of the town centre in to an area that you have to drive to.
This is one of the large tesco stores that has a very large variet of food and has recnetly upgraded the upstaires which holds electrical and clothes. This tesco store has quite a big pull from the surrounding areas.
The difficulty with this tesco is that you cannot walk to it unless you live directly next it it, but as most of Redditch is very well spread out most would have to drive. The customer services have a tendancy to be snooty and not always very helpful.
This store is kep in an adequately clean state though it can look a bit shabby.
This store is awful, Going shopping in here is like running a marathon, The staff are about as useful as nothing and the fruit and veg is just stacked up in crates and goes off quickly. The meat selection is also terrible for a huge store,
A great large Tesco stores where you can get just about everything that you need. You can however get carried away in here at times. The clothing section is great, although at sale times it can resemble a jumble sale. the electronics section is good value. The photo lab ladies are super friendly and helpful and the service here is excellent.
Large store which has pretty much everything under one roof, from fresh food to toys to childrens clothing right down to large electronics like flat screen TVs and washing machines. It even has departments for homeware and sports as varied as horse riding and wetsuits in the summer months.
A 24 hour store which offers lottery outlets, foreign currency exchange, coin changing facilities for small change and an in store cafe (although not 24 hour)
The store has easily accessible toilets and baby changing room and the clothing department has ample changing rooms for trying on clothes before you buy.
This store also has pharmacy which is able to distribute NHS prescriptions (and accepts fee exemption cards for this) and an instore optician offering NHS eye tests.
It has instore bakery, fresh fish counter, butchers counter and full delicatessant too.
Regular offers on many items and always worth keeping an eye out for yellow tags in the toy and homewares aisle for good bargains.
Parking at busy times can be difficult and the car park has a distinct slope to it making it very difficult to navigate with a full trolley although does have ample disabled parking and some (but limited) mother and child parking with under cover walk way to store frontage.
This site also houses a tesco garage.
Large supermarket over two floors, sells a wide variety of items and you need a couple of hours to have a look around. Can get very busy at weekends but has adequate parking spaces.
Must be one of the biggest stores, with 2 floors. although it sells everything you could possilbly need…. ever! - that isn’t necessarily a good think, as you spend hours and money in there!
Sells everything you could possibly need under one roof, and at good prices too.
This place is fantastic! Has clothes, dvd’s, cd’s, tv’s, homestuuf, pharmacy, opticians, large grocery area, stationary - you name it they do it. It has two floors and is massive. I find it has a really great range of food and grocery stuff. Good for books and cards. Choice of mobile phones on the top floor and dvd’s and cd’s. Some tvs and other electrical. They have bedding and kitchen stuff there aswell. Staff are generally helpful, they are open 24 hours. Often have give aways in the car park of free products etc.
