I had my tragus pierced here yesterday by Verna. She made me feel so comfortable and I didn't even feel any pain whatsoever. She was really reassuring and told me that it wouldn't hurt half as much as what people had said or what I had read online on forums. And she was right. I was happy for the privacy of the curtain, as I think sometimes if you get pierced infront of other people it can make you nervous. So I was glad for that. She went through the whole procedure with me and all the aftercare properly and thoroughly. I would recommend getting a piercing here to anyone as it was done quickly, professionally and as I said previously hardly any pain at all. I think piercings can be more painful if you have a piercer who is not as quick. But she was so lovely and made me feel at ease. If I want anymore piercings I would definitely go back and I will be going back so she can change my tragus ball to a ring :-) so happy I came to Lauren's :-) Kind of wish I had come here for my tongue nose and belly piercings!!

i just went there today for a crown tattoo on back of my neck..i loved it...the place was clean..the person hand wasnt shaking...didnt pain much...n the most important...people were good....used to go to ouch tattoo before...the people in ouch were so rude....i loved the laurens tattoo for everything...the final result was good..i m 100 % satisfied with the tattoo shop....just a improvement could be....they can start charging by card and not only cash..resh everything was just perfect..

Im pretty picky as a person as to who i allow to do my body art or piercing.... verna has pierced me for years in various different shops but laurens is brilliant, great service, friendly faces, lovely atmosphere. Verna made me feel so comfortable and she knows her stuff, i have alot of trust in her and steve and i wudnt go anywhere else! 
you know if u go to Laurens your getting a great trust worthy service, i cant wait to go back and see them for more!! one extremely happy client ;)

Oh my goodness! I first got my tattoo here 7 years ago! Wow how time flies.

I was looking around for a respectable tattoo place at the time and I think  this place was not opened very long.

Anyway after much procrastination I finally went in, and was greeted by a lovely man (For the life of me could not remember his name!) – He listened to what I wanted and I explained that my dad would not allow the pattern to exceed a 50pence piece! (So you can imagine how small mine is). He made the tracing print and placed it onto my leg to let me have a look- I was happy with the position and he went on to tattoo my leg.

During this time, he was ever so lovely! Really calm and collected, and guiding me through the process. He said he was going to do little bits first and if my pain threshold was “OKAY” he would continue the lines a bit longer so bigger chunks could get done. He told me to stay still as it was his “Birthday” and I had to be nice to him.

Lovely people, lovely place! Would definitely go again when I figure out which tattoo to get next. Only problem is- you go inside with certain picture of what you want then you end up seeing the their catalogue of tattoos!!! Your initial tattoo idea seems crap in the end.

Prices depend on your own design, I thought they were average priced!

I have had several tattoos & piercings at Lauren's tattoo studio. Keep going back for more. Steve & Verna are always very helpful, patient & professional. Excellent artwork, creative with precision & good aftercare too!

ive known steve and verna for a long time they are A1 tattoo and piercers they are very helpfull in what you want to get done i have had a number of tattoos and piercings done by both the studio is very clean and tidy i would strongly recomend them to anybody

I have had both tattoos and piercings done at Laurens and would highly recommend the studio to anyone wanting work done.  The consultations and non-bias advice given is both informative and constructive.  

Steve is a fantastic artist and has done tattoos on me, my husband, my son and my daughter in law, all of whom have been thrilled with the end result.  Verna has done numerous piercings for me and whilst having a wicked sense of humour she never looses sight of the importance of what she's doing.

The hygiene is second to none with Verna overseeing the entire studio to make sure all rules of cleanliness are abided by.

The atmosphere is light hearted and friendly but professional at all times. I would have no qualms in going there for more work.


You will be hard pushed to find a better studio anywhere.

I firstly took my two girls to have their ears peirced. They were a little anxious but quickly put at ease by the lovely lady who did the piercing. The studio was spotlessly clean, very relaxed and professionally run. We were given loads of time to ponder over colour of earings etc and involved in the whole process. The earings were placed brilliantly. I went back a few weeks later and some additoinal ear piercings myself. Again, a superb service. I would highly reccommend this place. CG Isleworth

I first came to hear of Laurens tattoo studio through recommendations as I wanted to have my tragus pierced second time as it previously had rejected. I was quite worried as I've had to have piercing's removed due to rejection before. But I really wanted to have the piercing! So I went it and spoke to Verna who was very helpful and gave me non-bias information. I have since then (few years ago) had both tragus and my belly button pierced from here. I have given a 5 Star review as there is not a single negative comment I can make. I have had a piercing almost reject and Verna told me to pop in and see her, she checked the piercing and gave me additional advice. Steve is brilliant, he did my friends tattoo after I told her of the studio and it is exactly as she wanted it. Overall I wouldn't go anywhere else for my piercings and will continue to recommend friends to the studio. It is the most hygienic studio I have been to.

Ive been going to Laurens for years and I currently have 12 tattoos by Steve and numerous piercings by Vern, I love Laurens it a friendly atmosphere and such a great atmosphere which is what you need when you could be there for hours having a tattoo done. The design quality of the tattoos are amazing and they are full of ideas. All my friends and family use Laurens when having tattoos because they know how good they are. I always come out extremely pleased after having more artwork. Perfect tattoo and piercing studio!!

I spent a lot of time before getting my first tattoo talking to others with great tattoos to find out which studio they had been to. Lauren's featured highly so I took the plunge. I wanted a custom tribal sleeve. Steve was excellent. we jointly came up with the perfect design which was tattooed beautifully. 

Having got the bug I have been back to Lauren's for another half sleeve (that's still to be completed), a chest piece and the large tribal Manta Ray across my back. 

I'm now in the wonderful position where people ask me where I got my tattoo!

All my tattoos have be done by Steve, but I've sat in the chair for many hours and watched Warren working on other customers and his work is also truly outstanding.

I have never had a piercing but have watched Verna perform countless piercings (not the intimate ones - there are privacy screens) and everyone looked like a happy customer to me!

They are very popular so it's very unusual to get a walk in appointment for a tattoo. you'll probably need book an appointment, so bear that in mind. 

The studio is always scrupulously clean and hygienic.

Needless to say it has always been a brilliant experience and I couldn't recommend they highly enough.
