Oh my goodness! I first got my tattoo here 7 years ago! Wow how time flies.
I was looking around for a respectable tattoo place at the time and I think this place was not opened very long.
Anyway after much procrastination I finally went in, and was greeted by a lovely man (For the life of me could not remember his name!) – He listened to what I wanted and I explained that my dad would not allow the pattern to exceed a 50pence piece! (So you can imagine how small mine is). He made the tracing print and placed it onto my leg to let me have a look- I was happy with the position and he went on to tattoo my leg.
During this time, he was ever so lovely! Really calm and collected, and guiding me through the process. He said he was going to do little bits first and if my pain threshold was “OKAY” he would continue the lines a bit longer so bigger chunks could get done. He told me to stay still as it was his “Birthday” and I had to be nice to him.
Lovely people, lovely place! Would definitely go again when I figure out which tattoo to get next. Only problem is- you go inside with certain picture of what you want then you end up seeing the their catalogue of tattoos!!! Your initial tattoo idea seems crap in the end.
Prices depend on your own design, I thought they were average priced!

Steve is a fantastic artist and has done tattoos on me, my husband, my son and my daughter in law, all of whom have been thrilled with the end result. Verna has done numerous piercings for me and whilst having a wicked sense of humour she never looses sight of the importance of what she's doing.
The hygiene is second to none with Verna overseeing the entire studio to make sure all rules of cleanliness are abided by.
The atmosphere is light hearted and friendly but professional at all times. I would have no qualms in going there for more work.
You will be hard pushed to find a better studio anywhere.

Having got the bug I have been back to Lauren's for another half sleeve (that's still to be completed), a chest piece and the large tribal Manta Ray across my back.
I'm now in the wonderful position where people ask me where I got my tattoo!
All my tattoos have be done by Steve, but I've sat in the chair for many hours and watched Warren working on other customers and his work is also truly outstanding.
I have never had a piercing but have watched Verna perform countless piercings (not the intimate ones - there are privacy screens) and everyone looked like a happy customer to me!
They are very popular so it's very unusual to get a walk in appointment for a tattoo. you'll probably need book an appointment, so bear that in mind.
The studio is always scrupulously clean and hygienic.
Needless to say it has always been a brilliant experience and I couldn't recommend they highly enough.
