The best fish and chip shop I have ever come across – the fish is perfectly cooked, the chips are divine and don’t even get me started on their chicken! The salad is so fresh and crispy that the local restaurants’ equivalents pale into insignificance! The staff are fast, friendly, and funny so even when there is a big queue, you never have to wait for long at all. Highly recommended.
Fantastic battered cod. Fantastic chips. This is a fantastic chippy that deserves to live on forever as a remembrance of why fish and chips, when good, is one of the best dishes for a hungry, cold person ever.

A highly-rated and awarded basic fish’n’chip shop in West London with celebrity fans, according to all the reviews. The fish is delicious, and the chips are perfect. Just a shame that unless you happen to live in Portobello Road, you’ll have to eat it perched on a tiny table outside. But at least they provide forks’n’knives.

If your ever in West london at all and your feeling hungry i highly recommend this Place i do really miss it and have never found anywhere else as clean or as friendly
George’s provides some really tasty great food and really so fresh like fish and chips but in really good portions they also do donner kebabs fried chicken ribs pies etc
also they will cook something fresh like skate and chips
jamie oliver usually pops in there for a quick bite to eat sometimes he has mentioned him a few times both on tv and also in his books where there is a lovely picture of the great british fish and chips geoge provides
geogre also spoils some of his customors like at christmas giving them a topple of whisky his also very gengous and so is his son i never used to eat many chips so he would just throw in a handful for me on each order
Full marks to this place
