Review of Ugly Bettys Beauty from 13 May 2013

In my search for a place to wax my legs in order to raise money for for my mother who has cervical cancer I was fortunate enough to be pointed in the direction of Ugly Betty's. Whilst other places gave me a cold reception the girls at Ugly Betty's welcomed (and reassured) me with open arms.

From booking my appointment, to the treatment itself, the service provided, in my opinion, was beyond reproach. The atmosphere is professional without being stuffy, fast and officiant without being rushed and most importantly they did an amazing job!

All of this coming from a bloke may seem strange but my wife and her best friends were along for the ride and assure me they'll be going back to Ugly Betty's in the near future!

I can not thank Ugly Betty's enough and if I ever decide to wax my legs again, I'll most certainly be in touch :)

Review of Ugly Bettys Beauty from 5 May 2012

The worst salon experience I've ever had:

At 38 weeks pregnant I was made to contort myself on their table for a pedicure. They offer pedicures but don't have a pedicure chair (I didn't even think of asking when I booked - just took it for granted). During the pedicure the beautician cut one of my cuticles so low it started to bleed but tried to ignore it. The reception desk was teeming with ants when I went to pay. In general, the staff seem too inexperienced to offer the level of customer service that could make a visit here justified.

I should have paid the extra money and gone to Fresh.
