Arkaden is a reasonable size shopping mall in the middle of Berlin. It’s not that easy to find (e.g. it’s in the middle of some boring looking international hotels/restaurants) so you may miss it.

It definitely isn’t as big as many suburban malls in the US, Australia, or UK, however it is still worth a visit if you want to go to international chain stores (Zara, H&M, Mango, etc) mixed with some German chain stores.

Because it is 3 levels in a narrow straight block, you can easily walk along the 3 floors without being too overwhelmed or tired, or losing your sense of direction. The food court area (lower ground) is quick and easy to get to.

Best to go during sales in mid July where some things can be discounted up to 70%. It can feel a little crowded at times but not too hard to get around.
