Sometimes the atmosphere of a place can be lost with a refurbishment, but not in this case. This is a great place to catch up with friends over a pint of Real Ale.

Recently refurbished this small pub contains genuine atmosphere and a mixture of all ages. Its busy at lunchtime, evenings and weekends. Some weekends they have live music - this is advertised on a board outside the pub.

Bob the friendly landlord, has been in charge for over ten years. An avid Newcastle United fan you can be sure he will have Sky Sports on if a match is playing.

To the rear is a small garden and smoking area, and at lunchtime freshly cooked food and tasty snacks are available for reasonable prices.

This is a relaxing friendly pub rather than a trendy place to drink, and Bob stocks a great selection of Real Ales.
