Hi after following up a suggestion by kujo ,I have had the postage refunded from money bookers .file a claim they follow it up with the thief at gadget n gears if he doesnt reply to them in 5 days they refund you .worth a try i think

Having the same problem as everyone else. Googled them to find out if gone in to liquidation since receiving no response and find they are con artists. Have raised with KGB so hoping I will get some money back. Shame on KGB for doing business with them. Perhaps they are in on the scam....

Im afraid its not stars Id give Gadgets n gears if I could get hold of them. This is obviously criminal behaviour, so much for KGB vetting their merchants before selling their vouchers. The most annoying thing about this company is the ignorance, they dont even have the courtesy to reply to calls or e-mails and own up to have robbed you.

Disgusting company ......... I bought an Attache 64GB USB flash drive from them in September 2012 via KGB deals and I have never received it. Couple of emails to KGB deals and the £12 was reimbursed. HOWEVER, Gadgets N Gears still owe me £4.99 for the postage and packing costs that they charged me for. I phoned and left an answer machine message and I have emailed them and have had no reply. Dispicable trader and will NEVER buy or recommend this company again. I have even thought about getting in touch with Watchdog to inform other people of this company.....its not the £4.99, its the principle of it all, that they "just get away with it"!!!!!

kujo, 24 November 2012:Contact KGB and get your money for the deal refunded, this seems to happen very quick for this supplier.
Then if you paid for postage via a merchant gateway such as paypal, moneybookers, worldpay, contact them regarding a refund.
You always have your card issuer as a fail back, no matter what the merchant says they will claw your money back.

Having done the same as many on here and purchased the 64gb stick which failed to appear I contacted KGB who very quickly refunded my money, I have just contacted moneybookers and filed a none delivery case which i'm hoping will be found in my favour and I will then get a refund.
I went for the deal as the price seemed very very cheap, I now see why.
I tried to contact the seller by email and phone but no luck.
After reading the comment by kmr12 I am in agreement with EricAppleby, I think this is a one man band using a website to do drop shipping , he has no control on delivery times and is unable to cope with the amount of order queries which is why they have been passed onto a third party company who from kmr12s conversation with them do not care.
That could be why they have such an array of items for a small business.
I would leave alone until they have their problems sorted out.

Just an Update, Money Bookers have refunded my money as the vendor didn’t provide them with proof of delivery within the 5 day period.
It looks like netx time I need to think about the saying, “if a deal sounds too good to be true, then it problably isn’t”

Bought a voucher from KGB for flash drive and when I redeemed it I was offered another 64Gb Flash drive for a tenner. Paid a total of 26 pounds including the voucher for the two flash drives and postage at the start of September. No sign of items despite numerous phone calls and emails to the thieving scum Gadgets n Gears. Emailed KGB who refunded the voucher price of £12 but I am still £15 out of pocket. How can these people sleep at night. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

I am another that got conned by gadgets n gears .one reply to emails asking where my usb drive is ,then nothing ,
kgb must know that they are con merchants as they have agreed to refund the dealprice to my card ,I paid direct for the postage by money brokers but that came off my visa card so will try to get visa to re fund that .

I bought the same deal, KGB refunded and I’ve just been on to money bookers who are the payment gateway, they are going to try and contact the seller and hopefully refund my extra cash I paid.

I got mine refunded as well, I paid for postage and another usb stick so it was about £15, gadget n gears never provided proof of delivery so it was no contest and they gave me the money right back.

What a set of con artists! Money is so hard to come by for so many people these days!
As all the other reviews state, no answer to emails or vm box is full!
I purchased an item through KGB deals for a 64 GB USB Drive back in September, still no sign of item to show up!
You would also think KGB would use reputable companies!

Boooooo to gadget and gears, rip offs merchants taking everyone for a ride and making a fortune from p&p on KGB items. Even if he didn't redeem the vouchers (and get the money) he will have still got £6 out of everyone who bought p and p to cover purchases.
Alarm bells were ringing when I was asked to pay postage by money bookers and not PayPal....wish I had listened to my instincts.

Disgraceful company and I'd give zero stars if that were possible as they don't deserve even the one. Tried calling to find out where my item is, which I'd purchased through KGB and after ringing forever a voice mail came on telling me I couldn't leave a message as their mailbox was full. Probably full of other angry customers demanding to know where their item is no doubt. They don't reply to emails sent and it looks like I'll have to get my money back through my visa card company which is a total ball ache. AVOID and don't waste your time.

I cannot rate this company as it is awful!!! I have been waiting since July 8th for delivery of my paid items 2 x iphone case chargers through KGB deals. Gadgets n gears when contacted will claim to send out items but delivery is never received. I have contacted him several times but still no sign of my goods. And now I'm waiting for KGB to refund but that seems to be taking its time too. DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. He is a scammer!!!
If anyone has any problems with this company please call Citizens Advice consumer helpline 08454 040506 get a reference number they pass on all details to Trading Standards. Hopefully with more complaints a full investigation will be done and with a bit of luck shut this CONMAN out of business!!! Honest people power!!! (cheesy I know :) )

Gadgets n Gears deserve NO stars at all. Disgrace we are forced to give them one by the system. Why would I when they don't deliver on their contractual obligations. They take your money and then disappear. This company is a scam - DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
And don't buy and related vouchers through kgbdeals either - you'll be lucky to get refunded.

Gadgets N Gears are a bunch of scammers. They sell items through voucher sites such as KGB deals but don't supply ant items. They claim they need upto 21 days to deliver but when nothing arrives and you contact KGB deals, they will only give a refund within 7 days, surprise, surprise.

Bought 2 vouchers from kgbdeals for 64 GB USB and paid 2 lots of postage on gearsngadgets and now at 6 weeks and nothing has arrived have raised PayPal disputes to both kgbdeals and gearsngadgets to try and get my money back. Gearsngadgets they are a total rip off don't answer emails enquiring about orders !!!!!!!

Gman121212, 11 October 2012:The same here. I unfortunately bought a voucher for the 64gb memory stick and it has still not arrived. All correspondence with gadgets and gears appears completely unproffessional and they are unconcerned that I haven’t received the product.
KGB deals wont issue a refund as it is outside the 7 days. Of course it is outside the 7 days as the merchant quoted 21 days for delivery! If id read the small print and seen 21 days delivery I would have just spent the extra money and bought one on amazon!
I obviously will never use KGB Deals again. I suppose I am glad that I have only spent a relativley small amount of money with them -

i bought a voucher from KGB deals for a 64 gig flash drive one month down the line after neumerous phone calls to gadgets n gears which they dont return and emails to this company which they dont reply to looking at other complaints about this shite company i am surprised they are still in business i guess you can only get what you want is if you are a walk in customer please dont order anything on line with this company please note this has nothing to do with KGB deals i have had no problems with them before its just this shite company and they deserve all the bad press they get i would give this a no star rating but you cannot submit your rating without clicking on a star so very begudgeingly i have had to click on a star

When you’re an honest person you do rather assume other people will be too – especially registered companies ! My mistake…..
But I have told kgbdeals that other people are having problems with this company and that they should stop dealing with them. I might not buy from them again but I will keep watch in case they use G&G again as that would make them complicit in the deception. Dare I say fraud.

I ORDERED A SAT NAV 16TH JULY AND AFTER PROMISE AFTER PROMISE OF DELIVERY I FINALLY TOLD THEM TO POKE IT ON 10 AUGUST AND ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK - THEN I PURCHASED ONE FOR £15.00 MORE FROM CURRYS WHICH I WISH I DID IN THE FIRST PLACE.

I ordered a rotating case for Ipad but one month later I have still not received the item. I have sent 3 emails to the company and received stunted replies. Does nt look like they are native english speakers - no disrespect intended - replies indicated my order would be delivered in 48 hours, then asked(again) for address for delivery but still no item appeared. Have contacted KGB deals who are investigating the claim. WOuld urge anyone who is affected by gadgetsngear to do the same. I have also reported them to Trading Standards.
