The Cherry Tree Inn

My wife and I stayed at the local Dale Hill golf club and decided to eat out and we are glad that we did. We read the earlier reviews on this website and they were very accurate. We ate there yesterday evening and had a lovely meal which was well portioned, presented and at a very good price. I had a steak and it was cooked exactly as I wanted it and my wife chose from the non-meat menu (which was extensive) both of which were served in good time and ended up with empty plates feeling rather full but we managed a desert each. The desserts were also filling and cooked just as we like them. The service was quietly efficient and no fussy - just as we like it.
All in all a very good eperience and one we would repeat and highly recommend to all. Those who have never eaten there dont know what they are missing.

We (myself, husband and 15mth young son) have been twice now, once for mother's day and now on Father's day.

The service is very good, very welcoming and friendly.

The roasts are excellent, good amount on the plate.

Had the homemade strawberry cheese cake today which I highly recommend!!!!

I spent a lovely afternoon in here on Boxing Day just gone by.

The pub is attractive to the eye, both inside and out, and the atmosphere and friendly service make this well worth a visit. The pub puppy is just one reason to come :)

Upstairs are a few spacious and reasonably-priced rooms if you want to stay over.

Overall, highly recommended.

Fantastic atmosphere, quaility food, great selection of beers wines and spirits. They also have accomodation comprising of a king room, double room and a twin. Run by Gavin and Elise with welcoming Bar staff Melissa and Claire. The chef is Abdel and his food is to die for. Tuesday night is Steak night, Weds night is Fish night, Thursday is Ladies Day! Fri lunch is OAP special. Sunday is roast day, choose from Pork, Lamb, sirloin of Beef or a mix of pork and beef. Always Clean, tidy, two car parks, thats why everyone comes back for more…..
