I went here for a Saturday lunch and oh, what a gem!

We ordered a seafood paella (you have to give them at least 45 minutes to prepare it, so tell them when you're booking the table if at all possible) and it was lovely!  When the platter arrived, I did wonder if it was going to be enough, but it was obviously very deceptive because "for 2" managed to feed two adults and 2 pre-schoolers.

The desert portion was massive too (I had the meringue with fresh berries) and equally lovely.

BUT what also made it were the friendly and engaging staff and the balmy but not at all cheesy Spanish atmosphere - open picture windows onto a little terrace and Spanish music at exactly the right level in the background.  There were several tables with small children when we were there, but all were very happily chomping on great food - a properly Mediterranean meal!

It's just off Montague Street, down the street opposite the ELC.  We were told that booking is an absolute must for a Saturday night.
