this is a big marks and spencer’s. it has 2 entrances, one is from the howgate centre and the other is off the high street. it is over 2 levels and on ground level it has ladieswear, menswear, childrenswear and a small cafe. if you go down the escalator ro the lift you will get to the food court. this department in particular is always very busy and the shelves can often be bare or almost. particularly the bread. they have an instore bakery so they have a selection of fresh roles and scones. they have a huge range of cards and wrapping paper, but for some reason they keep these downstairs with the food. they have a desk were you can go to order items in. staff are helpful and always pleasant

this is a great shop, it is a decent sized store, however, because it is the shortest route from the howgate centre to the high street, it tends to be over run with people storming straight through the centre of it. The food court down stairs is a decent size also, but by 4pm there never seems to be a single slice of bread left in the place.
