L'OM Café

Le décor est excellent : bleu ciel et blanc. Les couleurs de la cité phocéenne et de l'OM. Le service est rapide. Les terrasses ont même des diffuseurs de brume fraîche lors de fortes chaleurs. En face du vieux port pour un panorama digne de ce nom. A faire et refaire !

This cafe has a special place in my heart. I was an English assistant in Lycee Thiers in Marseille in 1998 and very quickly I became very excited by the football team Olympique Marseille. My friends and I would sit on the terrace for hours nursing une pression (little beer) watching the boats and the world going by in the Vieux Port. When my parents came to visit me at Christmas, we had our Christmas dinner here. Not the traditional turkey but a good meal none the less. The waiters were very friendly and always passed the time of day with us in our very basic French. I hope they saw an improvement by the end of the year.
