I stopped by on my way to Fulham Broadway at the weekend. It doesn't look like much from the outside but if you take a quick peek through the windows, you realize this place has lots to offer. From small coffee shop & restaurant to Italian deli, everything in there is made to please the eyes. On a sunny day, the small terrace is lovely despite facing the main street.

I tested the Parma salad as well as their selection of cold teas and was impressed with the portion and the wide selection of flavors. I have yet to buy deli food in this place but bottom line, this family-run business is worth a first stop if you're around the area.

I had passed this little coffee shop in Wandsworth Bridge Road hundreds of times and kept saying that I would go there soon. It has taken me a couple of years but now that I have made it I have become a regular in a matter of weeks.

It looks pleasant enough from the outside, but it doesn't look like much really. However, when you cross the door a lovely homey feeling hits you that makes you feel comforable instantly.

It is cosy and rustic. It has a few small wooden tables with wooden chairs, and it is all surrounded by Italian (almost all of the products) deli stuff.

As you approach the counter, the first thing you will notice (how can you not!?) are the cakes. They are all yummy but my favourite ones are the carrot cake (the best carrot cake I have ever had! And I have had enough in my lifetime to distinguish the good ones ;), the lemon poppy seeds cake and the brownie....and I am a brownie addict, so that is saying a lot!

The coffees and chocolates are lovely too. I particularly recommend the Chai Latte and their Chocolate Gourmet. You won't go wrong with them.

If it was a little bit cheaper I would have given it 5 stars. This is the kind of place where I would be going daily (twice - for breakfast and for the 4pm snack ;) if it was a bit more affordable. This doesn't mean that it is expensive compared to other coffee shops, but I am getting a bit fed up with the prices of a cup of coffee and a little bit of cake.
