Derby Megabowl

TenPin is the best hangout in Derby for an evening with friends...
Its a must do place for me and my friends on my visit to derby...
Bowling, pool and a couple of drinks will make your day...

This is a great place to go out with your mates and hav a laff and it does ot cost alot neather. Its a shame about the clown shoes that you have to wear though.They do have special deals for birthday parties as well which is good. When you hav finnished playing there ia an archade that is also a laff as well. There is a bar,which sells food as well, it is alittle pricey but the food is nice. There is a resturants close but if you dont want to go to the bar which is handy. The staff in there realy friendly and helpfull which makes the atmosphere in there evan better. There are toilets there and there are clean which is good. I would recoment this for a great day out for the family or with friends and i think that it is one of the best places to go bowling in the area.

Debry Megabowl is located just outside of Derby City Centre on the ringroad.

The area it is located in is not so great however it is fairly secure as it is next to the showcase cinema.

Inside the quality of the place is good and what you would expect from a bowling alley! There are many arcases to keep the “kids”!!! ammused and it also has a bar for the adults!

It is average in terms of price and you can usually find the right weighted ball! the lanes are ok and we didn’t encounter many techincal problems!

It has a KFC round the corner which is very ideal!

Derby Megabowl is situated in Sinfin Derby, near the cinema and various restuarants. I have been a couple of times and have always had a good time. When you go in, you pay and get your bowling shoes (which sadly, are still like clown shoes!) & then you go play. There is a bar which offers a small variety of expensive food and drink (but this is standard in any bowling place!) and when you have finished, you can always chill out and play on the arcade games or play a game of snooker/pool.

You often receive a discount voucher after you pay for your bowling games which can vary from discounts to free games depending on when in the year you go.

If you like bowling this is a fun place to go too. Has friendly staff and a nice pleasant fun atmosphere! Its in a great location where there is lots of public transport so it should be easy enough to get too. The prices aren`t particulary fantastic but I believe there are offers available which can cut the costs. There are lots of lanes available (i cant remember exactly how many now but I think its about 30). They also do birthday parties which I think are aimed at children, they usually are in places like this. There is a friendly atmosphere and a range of drinks ready for you to make it s decent night out!

mega bowl is a great place for a family outing as it is fun with over twenty lanes it is super for a very cheap price
and the staff will find you a good lane and the wright size shoes as well as there being a qysar thier it is good fun as teams go head to head in a battle
