plonkers

Plonkers is a really nice bar in York. It's a bit on the posh side compared to some of the other places in York but it doesn't seem to be too expensive. They do food too which I've never had there but been recommended it loads of times so may have to go there for a meal soon. The place is clean and the decor's nice. Probably not one of my favourite places as I always seem to forget about it but definitely a nice bar.

i loved it here . went with the girls from work 6 of us . didnt bother to book. staff were lovely . good food my friend ordered meat balls and was disapointed as it came in a chillie saurce , it was her own fault as she hadnt read the menu properly anyway she asked if she could order something else . they took the meal away and bought her a wrap and chips . when the bill came they hadnt charged her any extra , i had chicken curry it was on the hoy side but i do like it hot , the other girls all loved theres , after we had finished we had a walk by the river and cought the last bus home a lovely night with good food

this place is one of my favourite bars in york. the food is excellent and you definatley get your moneys worth, the decor is really cool, lots of exposed brick, and the service is speedy, i’ll defo be going back and getting more burritos!!!!!
its also located right near the river so once your stuffed with cheesey goodness you can walk it off by the water
