Woolworths, Holbeach, Spalding

Considering this is a small woolworths in a small town it serves its purpose well. This is the only place in town that sells woolworth type stuff meaning its a very useful shop when you don’t want to go far. It has a little of everything, and of course you can use it as a base to pick up internet orders too. Its a nice place for a quick walk round, but more often than not I come out with nothing in my hand other than a chocolate bar. It does have a good stock of the value ranges of clothing so when I’m looking for something cheap for my daughter to mess up its a good place to go. Its always clean and tidy with helpful and friendly staff. I only wish it was bigger and then it would be perfect.

This is one of the smaller Woolwrths stores, and as such their variety of stock isn’t excellent. I’ve only really been in there looking for computer games and the like, and their selection, to be honest, isn’t up to much. They do sell quite a few of the more recent games, but only if it’s well-hyped before the release. Their DVD selection is very good though (and often cheap, especially during sales), as is the choice of CDs.

The rest of the store is quite good, although they do tend to move stuff around a lot, so it’s hard to get used to where things are located.

The staff are generally polite and helpful, but they can be rushed sometimes (especially during school holidays and the like, when the store seems to be packed by kids).
