I have always had correct diagnosis and excellent treatment at an affordable price for the area. The best vets I have been to in the Harpenden and St albans area. I have had bad experiences elsewhere but I have every confidence in Heath Lodge.

I have over the last few years had two cats cared for by Heath Lodge. The first one, Smokey, unfortunately had liver cancer and due to the care from one of the vets, Julie, survived for two more years. When he did finally come to the end of his life at the age of forteen years old the care and compassion shown was amazing and all the arrangements for cremation etc where done for me. When three plus years later his sister, Gizzy, became elderly and had to have regular visits, Julie was indeed brilliant. Gizzy was lucky that she did not need assistance at the end of her days but just went to sleep a day after her eigthteenth birthday and died apeacefully. I have nothing buy praise for the care shown to both of my cats and would not hesitate in returning to Heath Lodge should I ever have another pet.

It is the best surgery I have been in. They always take care of my dog and I could never complaint about anything, their staff are lovely and caring.
Also all my husbands family always used them as their veterinary surgery for all their animals.

I cannot fault the surgery enough. They are always very friendly and very willing to accommodate enquiries on the phone or in person.

My cats have been patients for a number of years and they have always been treated wonderfully (sadly Brandy dislikes the chief vet and often takes a swipe at him!).

Not too far from the centre of town this vet is accessible and affordable.
