If you ever want to take friends out in Hamburg, make sure you visit this place first. The setting of within the gay area “Talstraße” with its drag-prostitutes might be a bit unusual at first but the 3-zimmer-wohnung totally makes up for it. The interior is amazing, the bar staff very friendly and the prices cheap!
They have special evenings where a guy reads poems and short stories in German, which is quite entertaining and the foosball basement hosts various tounaments.
Oh, and the ancient dildo collection is a must-see! Apparently they found this sealed room underneath the bar and when they broke it open, they found all these old dildos. They put them in display cabinets around the foosball tables. Go and check them out!

One of the coolest bars i have ever been to in my life. 3 room flat, is a 1970's house party. Well, on the surface. beneth lies a secret german fight club, i mean table football club...its kind of sureal.

the beer is cheap, and the selection is plentiful. the sofas are comfy, and the people are nice. But piece of advice, the toliets are alittle unclear as to which is guys and girls...not that anyone minded...germany is a very liberal place

First bar I went to in Hamburg and don't need to go anywhere else. It's amazing. I did my washing, drank weird Germen shots and was so drunk I had to be escorted home.

Spent a whole evening here recently, and a great time was had by all. Free table football - big bonus. The idea of this place is it's set out like a three room flat.

Walk through the front door into the kitchen/utility room. In the back there is a living room, then further back still is the bedroom (also where you'll find the table football table, oddly.

Update: We went to 3 Zimmer Wohnung again last night and I accidently found out that theyve massively expanded! Basically I was looking for the toilet (having never been to them here before) and took a wrong turn in the maze downstairs which landed me in the table-football room. After talking to the barman it seems that they only opened the room up a few weeks ago.

So the upstairs is the same 3 Room Flat that we've always known, but downstairs there is a new long room with a few sofas, a second bar and 6 table-football tables. Yes, 6. It's quite a cool game, but it's depressing how good all the locals are at it...

3 Zimmer Wohnung is a hybrid between house-party and laid back pub, with a dose of early 70's flair, a shot of late 90's tune mix and a bunch of people you don't know. Yet.

The pub is divided into 4 sections; the kitchen (also the bartop), the living room, the bedroom and a small kicker area. All of these are dimly lit, and have shelves of random books and tidbits scattered around. In the living room, we found a half-dressed Barbie doll and a 1988 Guinness book of Word Records.

While I wouldn't actually consider hitting the sack at "3 Zimmer Wohnung", it seems to be a great place for a laid-back evening excursion, especially as the music is low enough allow you to have conversations with your buds, but loud enough to sing and jiggle along.

Very recommended, can't wait to go back!

No need to bring anything they've got it all here... your Kitchen, Laundry, Lounge, Dining, Bedroom (Including a comfy bed with duvet to snuggle up with.) and last but not least the games room at the back with a football table.

Why have house parties in your own flat when you can use this place??
No cleaning-up, the beers cheap and after a few drinks it really does feel like the place belongs to you and your mates.

A great place with loads of character. It's like being at a house party with a kick ass table football table. People in here are always really nice and the Astra's are very affordable.

This is a excellent warm up place before unleashing Britain's finest on the Reeperbahn.

In the immortal words of superhans: "What the f***'s a washing machine doing in a pub?! Jesus, I need a drink!".

Not only a washing machine either - a bed, table football, and a real hi-fi system. This place is kinda like hanging around in your own house, only you don't have to clean it when all your friends spill drinks everywhere. What a concept! I'm gonna take it to the UK...

I really loved this place. It is cooler than probably any bar i've ever been to in london and it was really cheap with really friendly fast service. The best bit about it is that you can play extreme table football in the back and then when you're tired head into the bedroom for a quick snooze. There's even a blanket, and no one seems to mind if you do sleep, unlike london where you can get chucked out of a club for closing your eyes. Very chilled and very nice.
