The best sushi-to-go place I've seen so far in Wellington, just a couple of meters apart from the Japanese embassy.
Food Japanese staff, so they concentrate on "normal" sushi and not on this curry-grilly stuff with whatnot on top. Apart from a selection of sushi (all the standard nigiri and maki with fish, quite a lot with meat (NZ$1.50-2.50)) there are also lunch options with unagi or teriyaki chicken on rice (NZ$4.50). They also sell good miso soup, great onigiri (NZ$2.50, very good wakame salad and awasome surimi salad (both salads NZ$3.50 for a serving).
Atmosphere Friendly staff, freshly (!) prepared sushi. This shop is rather busy, so sushi don't get the chance to lie around for too long.
Value for Money Excellent. Loyalty cards available. Shortly before they close, they combine everything that is still there to "value packs", mostly with at least one meat sushi.
