This is a great golf club within the Bristol City boundary. The park setting is pretty spectauclar (bearing mind it;s location) right on the edge of the Blaise Castle estate. The majority of holes are tree lined and early players often see Deer running across the course.
Most of the members appear to be quite elderly and many use buggies due to the steep nature of the course. It’s set over three tiers on the East side of the Blaise ridge and has a couple of pretty challenging holes.
The 7 (yes, seven) groundstaff keep the course in excellent condition which means that holes are frequently closed due to waterlogging etc.
