Zilli Brasserie at My Hotel, Brighton

Lovely food and a good selection from the menu at the Zilli Brasserie. The choice of fresh fish is fantastic, so it’s good to see that they’re making the most of local produce. Meal wasn’t cheap, however, the hotel 'My Hotel’, in which the restaurant is situated, often runs package deals, where meals at the Brasserie are quite dramatically reduced, and so it’s often worth looking into these if you’re going to be spending some time in Brighton. Friendly staff too!

We had a company outing to Zilli Brasserie when our proposed trip to Lille was cancelled due to the Channel Tunnel fire.
After sampling cocktails in the very atmospheric cocktail bar we adjourned to the Zilli Brasserie. The ambience was great, the food superb and the service good.

It is not cheap but if you want to have a treat try it. Leave room for a dessert - you must try the chocolate fondant. Don’t ask for lobster - the lone guy in the tank is a celebrity and who wants to look at an empty tank anyway?
