Platinum Independent Estate Agents

We used Platinum estate agents in Little Sutton, Ellesmere Port to lease our property for 2 years until we moved to a more professional company. During the time we leased our property, we had numerous issues such as tenants leaving rubbish behind (after Platinum had apparently checked the property).

There were several repairs required to the property which had not been communicated to us. There were numerous problems after one tenant left the property including warrants being issued for the tenant not paying energy bills / council tax, several occasions where the tenant underpaid or did not pay the rent which we were left to us to deal with - Platinum had advised they had read the meters when one tenant left but this was not the case.

We should have known there would be problems from the start as the Platinum agent was heard swearing about us (by a neighbour) because we had turned up at the property at the time agreed and he was in a rush to get away.

We had excuses that Platinum didnt make money from the lettings hence the level of service. Totally unprofessional and as we were living out of the country, it made things more difficult. Steer clear is my advice.

I have unfortunately found Platinum to be the worst estate agents I have ever had the misfortune to have to deal with. Their customer service is virtually non-existent. Nobody in the office knows how to return calls, and when you ring them you're fobbed off at every opportunity. In short, avoid at all costs!

This agency is very popular in the Ellesmere Port area as indicated by the number of their boards around. They are based in Little Sutton but cover the whole town. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I find their marketing materials (and website) are clear and descriptive. Their commission charges are also very competitive. There are lots of rival estate agents in the vicinity and therefore they do their upmost to attract new business. They have a reputation of being more attentive than some of the other agencies in the area and don’t treat you like just another number. I will definitely use them in the future.

I have sold two houses through them and bought one through them and I have been pleased every time.

Prices are fair and the pictures/ brochure is of high quality.

They also advertise on rightmove as well as their own site and local papers.
