Awful deals. Bump prices up before dropping them. Petrol is too expensive - 2 miles away it's 5p cheaper. And to top it off they've now introduced a private clamping company in its car park.

Tesco is cool. I always fill up at Tesco express garages for petrol and cakes. We love the new tesco extra at Bradley stoke, it’s huge. Kids clothing is really good and lots of toys to browse, books etc.

What a transformation! This used to be a small Tesco supermarket, which apparently was top of the Tesco table for sales per square foot of floor space, so it was desperately in need of an expansion. And as only Tesco can do, they’ve taken it to the extreme making it a Tesco Extra. It’s also part of a new mini-mall at the heart of Bradley Stoke, which means that with an expanded range of products in Tesco, you don’t really need to venture to the Mall at Cribbs Causeway to do most of your shopping anymore. Well worth a visit, just to see how much it’s changed. As always, Tesco offers great value, but it’s also kept on its toes by an Aldi just round the corner.

A great store to shop at, but a major bonus is the online shopping as well. You can shop from the leisure of your own home. Good prices, and good CS’s as well.

tescos is a good, cheap supermarket to shop at. i agree with olivia how their 'kick drink’ is just supurb! plus we do love to drink it, and for 39p … bargain! i find tescos staff to be very friendly and helpful.

Tesco’s quest for world domination continues to go from strength to strength with their new Tesco Extra store in Bradley Stoke, which opened in October 2008.

The supermarket is so big that they have built a whole 'town centre’, which incorporates various stand-alone shops including Carphone Warehouse, O2, a hairdressers, a Shoe Zone, and food stores including KFC, Greggs and a Costa Coffee. Each of the stand-alone stores is relatively small and totally dwarfed by the Tesco itself, which has to be the biggest I’ve ever seen.

It’s split across two floors and will sell you everything from Dulux paint to halloween masks to iPods to dishwashers to hardback books to ready-roasted chickens to photo albums.

The aisle arrangement is a bit disorientating at first, and certain items are now where you might normally have expected them to be- the fruit & veg isn’t at the front of the store, the bread is tucked away in one corner. Some of the aisles don’t line up which I think is a design flaw as it means there isn’t one obvious path around the store, resulting in lots of colliding trolleys in busy periods.

Unlike some people I have nothing against Tesco and it’s going to be convenient for people in Bradley Stoke to have so much readily available to buy there. It isn’t always the cheapest supermarket for all items but it’s very competitive and does the job.

This Tescos is quite big and is open 24 hours 6 days a week. They are building a new bigger Tescos now so it will be much bigger and better soon. It is scheduled to open on the 13th october 2008.
