Good choice of groceries and have saved a fortune in comparison to the leading supermarkets. Always a varied choice on the 69p deal if fruit and veg.

Not only do I save a lot of pennies here, but I also have a great choice of german goodies! Especially at christmas time it is fantastic. As a german living in the UK, I find this very uplifting and enjoyable. I get my favourit 'Bratwurst’ and lovely cream cakes (freezer compartment) here as well. The Aldi specials are great quality products for minimal prices and I have even bougt a PC there, which is great! Somebody is bringing in some german food culture! Thank you soooo much!!!!

This is a relatively new Aldi store in a clean, modern building. Stuff sold in Aldi falls into two categories: the stuff that’s there week in, week out (most of the food) and the special offer clothes, toys, hardware, electrical items etc which are only there when advertised. Therefore if you get a flyer with a product you want on it, check the date that it will be in store, and make sure you get there then (or it may be gone). If it’s your first time at Aldi, make sure you take a pound for the trolley (I always forget), and remember to take your plastic bags, as you will get charged for new ones. You’ll find most of the food you usually buy there, but no brands, and that’s predominantly why it works out cheaper. With no option you do buy stuff you may not have picked up at a big supermarket, where you do have the choice. That said the food is usually good, and there are a few different things there to try.

This Aldi sells a range of items such as, food, drink, a small range of other items ranging from small household items to clothes. Some the items are quite reasonably priced. I have found the staff are friendly but they dont all know where everything is.
