Fountains Cafe Bar

been in there a few times but the last time i went in was on the holiday monday of the Extravangaza in 09, was shocked how much smaller the roast dinner was and i think was a lot dearer that day too, i wont return

Lots of outside tables and plenty of space inside, means that Fountains Cafe is a popular place for lunch. A well stocked bar and friendly, helpful staff makes a good first impression. Menu wise – paninis, burgers, breakfasts, pastries etc, all at a fairly reasonable price. We took advantage of the pastry and a coffee deal, + a club sandwich, which was most impressive, but a little expensive at £6.50. All in all, a relaxing place to have lunch; I would imagine its fairly busy in the evening though!

had a great coffee and a muffin last week for £2!!!!!! lovely service and comfortable to sit inside and out.

Fountains is a ok place for a drink or a bite to eat. Located in the now trendy Upper Mostyn Street area it offers a pleasant interior or if the weather is nice enough you can sit outside at one of the pavement tables.

There’s a decent selection of drinks and food and while it isn’t the cheapest place in town you could do worse.

At night it can get quite lively as the trendy young people flock here and also to the nearby Fat Cat and Lounge.
