Always a lovely place to eat Mexican style food, with fabulous decor and town centre vibes. Special prices midweek too make it affordable too.

My favourite restaurant of all time. Its not the cheapest but who cares, I've been coming back here for years. Love it.

Cafe Des Amis has got to be one of my favorite restaurants of all time. Delicious, well priced, inventive Mexican food served by great staff in a gorgeous venue just outside the city walls. I'd definitely recommend the lunch/early evening deal which is great value for money and the duck salad is to die for! As an added bonus, the menu art was created by Dave McKean, one of my favorite illustrators/artists. We come back here time and time again and we've never been disappointed - on various occasions the staff have gone above and beyond the call of duty to help us.

Has to be one of my top 5 restaurants. Atmosphere when busy is immense and you cant beat the lamb fajitas. Have pretty much tried all the menu and the fat stubby beer from mexico is the mutts.

OMG - My favourite Mexcan restaurant ever. Have been eating there since about 1996 - and it is amazing.
The service is friendly and fast, the atmosphere is buzzing with the chatter of the customers (a little bit cozy in there!) and the sizzle of the dishes flying to the tables.
Everything you could want from a Mexican - the pina colada cocktails are to die for!!

This mexican restaurant is always very lively; the walls are decorated with very bright, artisan art, and the different-sized tables nestle corner to corner, in two different rooms. The clientele is a mixture of students and locals; lots of choice of fajitas, which are brought piping hot to your table, served with all the usual trimmings; guacamole, salsa, sour cream and refried beans. Salmon in coconut is very good. Alcohlic and non-alcoholic cocktails go down well.

Although the food is a little overpriced in this restaurant the portions are large and the quality is excellent. The cocktails, although small and pricy were also very nice.
The restaurant itself is very quaintly decorated with lots to look at on the walls, however we found it to be a bit cramped and the two guys in our party did not have a lot of room for movement.
