Great local greengrocers. Not fancy, but everything is top quality. Everything has its season, and you will often find cheap boxes of Alfonso mangoes, cherries, grapes, tomatoes, lychees and so on out the front. Cheaper by the dozen...

In the back you'll see Iranian dates, yams, all kinds of pickles and exotic bits and bobs. Their speciality is serving the Turkish community, so cucumbers come in 3 or 4 varieties, pitta bread is the cheapest and freshest in the area and pide comes fresh every day.

Herbs, tomatoes and peppers are cheaper than Asda and Tesco by a long way.
