Beecraigs Restaurant

Lovely restaurant with the most fantastic view !
The food was tasty and good, staff polite and helpful and the total bill more than reasonable compare to the quality of the food.
I will defo go back :-).

Table service was polite and prompt, food choice and quality was commensurate with the price. Lovely views.

Decor and demeanour show that it is primarily an eatery for the Beecraigs caravan park, rather than a truly stand alone restaurant.

When we arrived there was a sign on the door stating their phone line was out of action and therefore they could not accept credit or debit cards. This was not mentioned to me when booking that morning. At least two other groups of diners with bookings went elsewhere when they saw the sign/were told they could not pay by card.

The views were lovely and the food and service good for the cost, but not informing diners of problems with a card machine at the time of booking is very poor customer service, especially when the nearest cash machine is a 20min round trip by car.

Recently visited the Beecraigs Restaurant which is under new management,ten out of ten for the service, the food was absolutely fantastic as always. The choice on the new menu was mouth watering and priced very reasonable. The ladies washroom has been refurbished which was a disappointment for me on my last visit The staff were very helpful and efficient and I will defanatly be back as the new management have made some well needed infestment to a fantastic restaurant in a great location with views I wished I had from my home. Ten out of Ten will definatlt be back.

We were recently up the newly named "The Restaurant at Beecraigs" and were thoroughly impressed with both food and service standards. The new menu is very well priced and as usual with a varied choice. Hats off to the new owners as the refurbishment work was long overdue as the place was looking so tired. We will definately be going back .

This was not a good experience at all. We have been to this restaurant many times. However unknown to us it has recently been taken over much to our dissapointment as it has gone right down hill. Unlike any other time we have been the food was very average and the service was pretty bad too!! We used this restaurant alot with our family but sadly we will not be going back. Such a shame as it used to be great!

Hmm, our experience not as good as the above. Table service was patchy and some staff just a wee bit rude. Food was mostly OK, and as has been said, the views are well-worth the journey.

Nice restaurant with a solid selection of dishes. Very good view over the surrounding area, suggest asking for a table with a view.

This place is a wee bit off the beaten track but well worth a visit to this purpose built restaurant. You have to book as its usually busy. The food is lovely and served in decent sized portions. The staff are all very efficient and friendly and its not over priced. We love going there and will keep going regularly.
