Blue Gents Barber Shop

Not really recommended if you care about a “quality” cut. I’ve been several times and it’s a bit hit and miss if they give you a reasonable cut or just something similar to what you could do yourself with a mirror and scissors. I suppose it depends on the girls mood but I’d say out of 10 cuts I’d get 2 I’m pleased with, 4 just acceptable and 4 rubbish cuts which for around £10 each I really expect better. As the previous poster said, the girls are friendly enough but I just want a good haircut. No amount of friendly chit-chat makes up for a bad haircut (for me anyway).One good thing is the shop is stylish looking and you can go straight in usually without waiting, although that might be a bad sign actually!There’s loads of competition in Harrogate so you’d think they’d try that bit harder but after yet another disasterous cut I’ve since gone elsewhere.

Not only is this place a quality outfit for having your hair cut but the people who work there never fail to make me laugh or smile. Everyone is really nice and it’s always something of a social occasion to come here. Really good!
