Once you have beaten the crowds for the Edinburgh Castle then the next place to go should be the Camera Obscura. Each floor going up to the viewing platform has a collection of optical illusions in print, digital and physical formats for your entertainment. Great for kids and adults alike. Even the gift shop got more attention than the castle gift shop. Worth a visit…Better on a good weather day.
This is one of the best tourist attractions in Edinburgh. Only go on a good day, as the views are ruined if not. The floors leading up o the tops have a lot of really cool photos and puzzle type things.
