Hello there my name is Tom Hughes i am the new landlord of the recently re-opened Greyhound Inn at Saughall, i am extremely saddened to hear your opinion of the new Greyhound Inn, Myself, my father, Tom Hughes also and mike, whom is our chef and business partner, have put all our heart and hard work into this very popular community pub. Not sure if you were aware that before we started work on the refurbishment that the greyhound had been closed for several months and actually was in a derelict state!! I totally understand everyone has the right to their own opinion, but i would just like to say that everything that we are about from our backgrounds, our experince, our menu’s, the way we have trained our staff and most importantly are views on customer care are most definatley not pretentious!!!! I would please like to ask whom ever you are to come back into the Greyhound get to know us, ask for myself we’ll have a drink together, spend some more time in our pub. As for our cask ales i can only apoligise for your bad experince with the quality that is something that i will keep a very close eye on, as our ales are our biggest selling draught product.
