I like shopping in morrisons, its always been one of my favourite supermarkets but I find this one to be very busy. It’s not as bad as the ones in the centre of town, but this one always has long queues and lots of customers. The other probelms I have with this store is that the aisles are quite narrow. Its difficult for people to pass.
However, having said all that, the selection available in the shop is quite large and the fresh food counters are good, so it is a good shop, just not a brilliant shopping experience.

I hate going shopping round here as it gets so busy and they are forever changing things around in the store and i hate it. While they do have a good selection of things to buy i leave the main shop to the missus as i just dont have the patience. I come in here for a few bits and pieces to take home for tea or a quick bite for lunch. They do a lovely salad bar to make up yourself or you can grab one from the cooler already made. They do a good choice of readymade sandwiches and pies and chicken meals, etc. There is actually a good selection scattered all around the store of things you can grab and run with. The array of goods to be bought in store is impressive. They also do a good choice of dvds and computer games and also sell tvs, dvds, etc and mobile phones. They also sell some good electrical items and housewares. The prices are decent and the store is nice and clean and always tidy. The staff are scattered all around the store ready to help and most are nice and friendly.

A huge supermarket which is always well stocked and staffed. Its clean and tidy inside in all areas. They stock a huge selection of fresh, frozen and tinned foods and toiletries and beers, wines and spirits. They stock magazines, books and comics and dvds and computer games and anything you could need for a birthday. They also have a good stock of perfumes, aftershaves and electrical items. I think ive covered everything. They have a fresh salad bar, deli, chicken counter and a butcher and fishmonger. They bake their own bread on site and buns and cakes which are lovely. They have lots of offers to be had and lots of buy one get one frees. The prices are average but you can get lots of value food too which are very cheap but good quality. At christmas and easter they have lots of gifts, etc to buy and have more offers on. The toilets could be cleaner but they are adequate. They do have a disabled toilet and a baby changing toilet too. They also have a cafe but it is usually too busy to bother with but when i have ate their the food is nice - nothing special apart from their fish which is gorgeous.

Victoria Shopping Centre

opens; mon - fri 8am to 9pm/sat 8am to 10pm/sun 10am - 4pm

This is also my local supermarket and has been since the moment it first opened - ive shopped in the old morrisons and then the revamped one on the same site.

As this is the only supermarket near to me i dont really have much choice but i love the supermarket anyway and dont think id shop anywhere else. This has everything i need under one roof and the store is clean and tidy and spacious with lots of choice. The prices arent the cheapest on some but then i do like brand makes - they do offer a value own brand if you want them offering a very good choice.

They have a salad bar (with sneeze bar but still dont trust them) or you can go get lots of fresh salad items and make your own. They usually always have a good stock of fresh food which is updated constantly through the day. The staff are lovely and will go see if they have anything you request if it isnt out.

The deli/meat counter is good and they offer a good choice for you.

The chicken and pies counter is also a good buy with various meal deals to be had - the chicken is quite dear but they do a budget full size chicken which is gorgeous.

They make fresh cream cakes/buns/pastries, etc and bread onsite which is lovely.

They also have a butcher who will cut a piece of meat for you how you want or a fishmonger who does the same.

All in all it is everything you could wish for under one roof at reasonable prices.

The cafe is a bit slack in the service and the prices are a bit steep and admittedly the food isnt the best but you cant have everything. The queues are horrendous as there is only one till to pay for everything.

They also have secure trolley bays incase you want to leave your trolley while you go somewhere else.

Inside the store there is also a travel agents, bank, chemist, bagshop, cardshop and dry cleaners.

The toilets could do with being checked more often and there is usually one or more out of order - there is sometimes a big queue for them.

Although the cafe isn’t brilliant the supermarket alone more than makes up for it. A fairly large supermarket stocking plenty of special offers. If you don’t mind sticking things in the freezer till you need them then can I suggest you go half an hour before close as they reduce all the fresh breads etc to silly prices. :)

Very good for buy one get one free etc. There is a large cafe and also baby changing facilities (althought I dont know how good they are at the moment)
