This is by far the poshest place I have ever stayed in my whole life ever, fact.
The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, and the porter was kind enough to show me how to work the little computery thing in the bedside table so I could turn the telly on and shut the curtains and switch my lights on and off, for which I was very glad, or I would have been stuck.
All the stuff in the mini bar was complimentary, as was the gourmet coffee and tea. The queen size bed was so comfy I didn’t want to get out of it. The bathroom consisted of two sinks, a humungous bath set in marble, a walk in shower with two showers, and a separate toilet booth with a PHONE in it. Small things eh?
There’s a pool and a spa, and absolutely stunning grounds. We even had a go on a tandem, which was ace.
The food is top notch but a little on the expensive side (starters begin at 20 Euros), and the service was a bit slow. Excellent wine menu.
A memorable and exquisite experience.
PS They have a heli-pad for those of you with choppers : )
