Walked in as some bird was belting out “I Will Survive”. Was this an omen? Would we survive? A couple of pleasant chaps behind the bar, one of whom seemed to have a hairstyle inspired by “Jedward”. Four local ales in drinkable condition. A quick look at the menu and we decided to eat in the restaurant to escape the Gloria Gaynor wannabe. Waitress service and presentable food at slightly above average prices. Yes, we survived.
Went here a while ago with the family. I was impressed by the standard of food but suffers in value with the nearby Turk’s Head. Live football is shown which is a plus and the restaurant looks very acquired.

Great food especially if you like seafood, but beware if you are planning your wedding reception there. Expensive for not an awful lot. Other than that, the Lugger is just yummy!
