McClary Launderette & Dry Cleaners

very lovely launderette, as lovely as they come. warm, comfortable, coffee and friendly faces what more do you need from a launderette.

Decent place, good machines (they are huge and the dryers can dry a load of wash in about 20 mins!), no queues, nice guy that runs it ... what more is there to say about a launderette?

Would recommend.

I don’t have a tumble dryer so sometimes I come here to dry things like bedlinen and towels when I’m impatient. I think I might have an unhealthy obsession with launderettes though. I really like them. I like the way they smell, and I like how cosy and warm it is when you sit by the dryers, and in McClary’s, I like how there’s a drinks machine, and a TV, and some magazines, and lots of plants and greenery, and pretend tongue and groove on the walls, and plenty of big plastic washing baskets for everyone to use.

It’s never so busy that I’ve had to wait to wash or dry anything here, which is ace.

Also, the guy who works there is quite nice to look at and very friendly.
