I have been going to Biba’s for many years, and every time I have decided to try another hairdresser out of convenience or economy I have regretted it. The staff are attentive and listen to what you want and you always get a professional service. Would definitely recommend.

I have been going to Biba’s Hair & Beauty for 16 years – which speaks for itself. Now that my daughters are grown up and make their own decisions, they have experimented with other salons – and returned to Biba’s.
I like the mixed clientele Biba’s attracts, from young women interested in looking stylish to people like me who want low-maintenance elegance and men of varying ages and styles. My colour is really good and the cut is fantastic. I also use Biba’s for beauty treatments.
I particularly value the fact that the salon rings if the stylist is running late and their willingness to come in early for a really special occasion. Above all, while they remain willing to advise me, they know me and keep on creating styles I like and can manage between appointments

I visited this salon with a Wahanda voucher for a half-head highlights and cut back in July. I thought the salon was quite basic, I wasn’t offered any magazines to read whilst I was having my highlights and as the hairdresser didn’t bother to talk to me, I got quite bored. I was however very pleased with the cut and colour. I therefore bought another voucher from Wahanda recently for another half-head highlights and cut, without realising that the voucher was only valid for first visits to the salon. I emailed Bibas to book my appointment, telling them that I had a Wahanda voucher, and everything was booked with no problems. However, I went for my appointment at 5pm today and was dealt with at the reception by the male manager. I told him I had an appointment for a colour and cut and had a voucher. Firstly, he said that only my colour had been booked in, and not my cut. Then secondly, he saw on the computer screen that I had used a Wahanda voucher before and told me I would not be able to use it again as it was for new customers only, and that (and I quote), it was ‘greedy’ to buy another voucher!!!!! I was absolutely amazed that he spoke to me this way. I said that I didn’t realise that it was for first visits only and that I was surprised Wahanda let me buy the voucher, but as I had already paid for it I asked if I could still have my colour and cut. The manager bluntly told me that I could, but not at the discounted price.
I just feel like this whole situation was dealt with extremely poorly by the Bibas staff. Why did nobody tell me I could not use my voucher when I booked my appointment to save me spending money to get to the salon? Why did the manager speak to me like I was stupid and offend me by calling me greedy? He should have just explained the situation calmly and politely and I would have quite happily walked away. However, this didn’t happen and so I wanted to leave this review to show how rude the staff at this salon are, and they obviously have no interest in customer care.
I would avoid and go somewhere else where you will be treated better and have a luxurious experience. This is like having your hair done in your Gran’s front room!

I decided to check out "Bibas hair and beauty" after visiting their website ,considering that very good discount( 30% off on your first appt. ).When i arrived at the salon i was surprised at how busy it was. That friendly but professional atmosphere made me fell very relaxed.
I had to wait about 10 mins but i was offered a hot drink and a magazine. When my turn finally come, my stylist,Kate, took such a good care of me;she asked me what i would like to do,she gave me some advice and she manage to do the best hair cut i've had so far;she did not make any difference between me and the others that were paying the full price.I was so happy and i would definitely go back there to have my colour sorted specially because i've been offered a 10%discount for my next appt. I strongly recommend bibas to anyone who would like to have a fantastic service at a very good price.

Didn't have a great experience, not happy with my haircut at all and on top of it felt very ill at ease and belittled by some of the staff. It's enough of an ordeal having to attend a hairdressers without others adding to it...

I have been going to their beauty salon section for the past year or two! Despite leaving in Clapham, I keep going back there regularly and I'm not planning on changing for now. So that gives you an idea of how satisfied I am with the service.
The girls are all sweet & professional and most importantly efficient. 5mn from Russel Square tube, take online booking, text you reminders, always nice & friendly atmosphere in there.
I have never tried any of their hairdressing services though but I might give it a go in the future. You never know!

I've been going here for over two years now for haircuts and have recently started venturing downstairs to the Beauty Salon. The whole place is well-run, the staff and cheerful, helpful and kind and the rooms downstairs and wonderful - mellow music, comfortable seating/tables and yummy smells.
I thoroughly recommend this salon for everything.

Went to the beauty bit here and not the hairdresser, although as I was going in someone came out with a really good haircut so that’s a good sign! The place is much more luxurious than other places I’ve been. My beauty therapist was just lovely (name begins with 'T’ but I can’t remember her whole name). Took me into a room with calming music and really warm and relaxing. The wax they use there is amazing - it’s warm rather than hot, not sticky and it’s chocolatey - and it’s really not painful. Felt like I was a really valued customer and would definintely go back. They do loads of other treatments and stuff as well - all listed on their good website.

Pretty good salon close to the Brunswick centre and amenities of Bloomsbury. I have only ever visited for hair cuts though they do a range of other waxing and beauty services.
My haircut the first time I visited was great - the stylist was friendly and recommended a great product for my hair; letting me test it out to see what I thought. Unfortunately the next time I visited even though I had the same stylist the cut wasn’t as good and this has made me look for another salon.
The prices were average and it is quite easy to get an appointment. I would recommend it if you are looking for a simple haircut and friendly staff. They are also one of the only stockists of Aveda products in the area so a good place to pop in to pick up supplies of their haircare products as they have a good selection.
